Victim reported to deputy that sometime between August 1,2012 and December 26,2012, unknown persons entered into his secure garage and stole the listed items. Victim stated that the items were in boxes when they were stolen. Case is under investigation.

Location: Residence on Carlson Road, La Cienega area of Santa Fe County

Stolen: Aspire laptop computer valued at $700.00

Arrested: Nicholas Dodson, 34-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 12-25-2012 at about 3:00PM Mr. Dodson unlawfully entered a family members residence and stole a laptop computer, which he gave to another undientified male to pay off a debt.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Location:  Valle Vista Court, Santa Fe, NM

Victim #1:  Male, 23 Santa Fe, NM

Victim #2:  Male 29, Santa Fe, NM

On Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at approximately 11:02 PM deputies responded to a residence at the location in reference to Shots Fired and two people being wounded.  Upon arrival Victim #1 was located with an apparent gunshot wound and subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.  Victim #2 was also located with an apparent gunshot wound and transported by the Santa Fe County Fire Department to Christus Saint Vincent Regional Medical  Center where he succumbed  to his wound and was pronounced dead.

0212019847 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property / 12-26-2012

Location: Residence on Crystal Mesa Road, South Highway 14 area of Santa Fe County

Items stolen: 2 laptop computers, misc. jewelry and collecter coins valued at about $5,000

Sometime between December 20th and December 25th unknown suspects forced entry into the victims house by breaking a window and stole 2 laptop computers misc. jewelry and collecter coins.   

0212019824 / Driving on a Revoked License, Careless Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident / 12-25-2012

Location: 3900 block of Agua Fria Street

Arrested: Jose Guarado-Galdare, 38-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 12-25-2012 at about 2:23AM Mr. Guarado-Galdare was traveling eastbound on Agua Fria Street in his 1998 Ford utility vehicle when he lost control and struck a fence and mailbox of a residence in the 3900 block.  He failed to stop and report the crash.  He was located a few minutes later on Siler Road.  He was found to be driving on a revoked drivers license and was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail on the above listed charges.

Location: Caja Del Oro Grant  North, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Misc. artisan silver jewelry  

Victim reported that sometime between November 1, 2012 at an unknown time and December 24, 2012 at  8:00am. Unknown persons  took the above items. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

The above listed item was valued at about $15,000.00

Subject: Sergio Arras-Saenz                          Age: 32                 Santa Fe,NM

Subject was stopped by deputies after observing a traffic violation. Contact was made with the driver who displayed signs of impairment. Sobriety tests were administered and  driver was arrested. driver submitted to chemical testing with the results being .14, .13

Vehicle was seized in accordance with Santa Fe County 2006-5.

Stolen: Yamaha Motorcycle    blue in color

Victim reported to Deputy that sometime between 12-21-2012 and 12-22-2012 unknown persons stole the listed vehicle while it was  parked on her property. Case is under investigation.

Deputies responded to the location in regards to an inmate being caught having a controlled substance on her person. The substance was seized and the inmate was rebooked into the jail with the added charge.
