Decedent: 41 year old male

On 12-02-12 at aproximately 1003-hours/ 10:03 am, Deputies were dispatched to the above location in regards to an male not breathing and unconsious. Upon arrival a male was located deceased. There were no signs of trauma or foul play. The cause of death is pending an autopsy.

0212018594/ Aggravated Burglary/ 12-02-12

stolen: Xbox 360, 40 Xbox games, $360.00 cash,  .22 caliber rifle (unknown make)

Value: $1,760.00

Sometime between 4:00pm and 11:30pm on 12-01-12 unknown person(s) entered the victim residence and removed the above items. The suspect(s) entered by prying open a bathroom  window. Evidence was obtained and suspects are pending.

0212018530/ Burglary- Auto/ 12-01-12

Stolen: 2 gym bags with miscellaneous clothing, 2 heart rate monitors, 12 pair of shoes, sliver necklace, 2 black diamond rings, and a mens wrist watch.

Value: $2,300.00

On 12-01-12 Deputies were dispatched to the above address in regards to an auto burglary. The above victim reported someone broke  the driver's side rear window to his Lexus GS300. The theft occurred between 11-30-12 at 10:30pm and 12-01-12 at 7:00am. Suspects are pending at this time.  

0212018535/ Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle/ 12-01-12

Location: Churchill Road- Santa Fe

Stolen: A maroon 2008 Toyota Tundra bearing NM license plate 416PLD

On 12-01-12 the victim reported sometime between 7:00pm and 9:00pm on 11-30-12, an unknown person stole the above vehicle. The vehicle was parked behind the residence with the keys in the ignition, but not running. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as a stolen motor vehicle.

Victim:  Female, 26, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Carlton Jefferson, 27, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery Against a Household Member

On Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 2:03 AM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the suspect grabbed the victim by the arm and used a restraint technique to put her on the floor.  The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries and declined any further medical attention.

Location: 1100 block of South Summit Drive, Santa Fe, NM (Hyde Park Road Area)

Stolen: 2 ADT Outdoor Cameras, 2 Bronze Light Fixtures Total Estimated Value: $700.00

Victim reported that sometime between the dates of October 29, 2012 and today's date unknown suspect(s) gained forced entry into the above address.  Entry was gained by breaking a bedroom window.  Several electrical wires, cable, and phone line were cut.  The above listed items were taken. Total estimated damage: $550.00.  Case still pending investigation.

Items Stolen: Firearms, Electronics, Jewelry, Documents

Deputies were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, victim reported that he arrived home to find his home burglarized. Victim stated the suspects stole the listed items from the home between 3:00 p.m. amd 3:30 p.m.. Case is under investigation.

Subject: Rafael Almeida          Age: 27        Santa Fe,NM

Deputies were dispatched to a report of a male striking a female. Upon the arrival of Deputies they could hear an argument taking place inside the home. Upon contacting the individuals they observed visible injuries to the victim. Subject was arrested and taken to jail. 

0212018518 / Aggravated DWI, Open container, Roadways laned for traffic / 11/30/12

Location: I-25 Mile post 268 North Bound

Arrested: Jessica Ortega, 40-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 11-30-12 at about 10:30PM Mrs. Ortega's vehicle was stopped after it was observed traveling North Bound on I-25 failing to maintain it's lane of travel.  Mrs. Ortega displayed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. An open bottle of alcohol was located in her vehicle. Breath test results showed her breath alcohol content to be over twice the legal limit.  She was arrested and booked accordingly.

 

0212018467 Unlawful taking of a Motor Vehicle 11-29-12

Location:128 Tesuque Village Road(Tesuque area)

Stolen: 2007 Chrysler 300 (Black in color)

Victim reported that sometime between 10:30pm and 11:00pm on 11/29/2012, his vehicle was taken from the above stated address while it was left unlocked, running, and unattended. Vehicle was later located and recovered on Calle de Oriente by SFPD. Case is still under investigation.
