Case#: 0212014689/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 09/17/12

Location:  Richards Avenue & Avenida del Sur, Santa Fe, NM

On 9/17/12 deputy was dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle.  Victim stated she parked her vehicle around 1:10pm and went for a walk when she heard a loud noise come from the parking lot. Victim walked to her vehicle and saw that her right front window as shattered and her Ipod that was left sitting on the front passenger seat was stolen.  Estimated value of items stolen is $800.00.  Estimated damage amount is $500.00.

0212014663 Battery against a Household Member 9/17/2012

Deputy assigned: Joseph Barela

Commander entering: Cpl. Fred Suazo

Location: Elk Horn (Airport rd Area)

Arrested: Oscar Mendez 41 year of male,Santa FeNM

On this date Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Victim displayed signs that a battery had occurred, victim stated suspect attempted to smother her with pillows and a blanket. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Case#: 0212014651/ Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, Larceny/ Date: 9/16/12

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Gerald Lovato

Location:  residence off of Camino Catalina, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque area)

On 9/16/12 deputy contacted victim in regards to a Fraudulent Use of a credit card.  Victim stated that her son stole her credit card from her purse between the hours of 1300 and 1330.  Victim stated that the Visa Debit card was used at several different locations in Espanola and Pojoaque area.  Victim stated that the amount is about $260.00.

Case#: 0212014646/ DWI, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Battery on a household member/ Date: 9/16/12

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Richard Hilderbrandt

Commander entering:  Lt. Linda Ortiz

Location:  95B Cedar, Santa Fe, NM (Silverado Subdivision)

Suspect:  Maurice McAlister, age 42, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Battery on a household member, Open Container

On 9/16/12 deputies were dispatched to above location in regards to an aggravated assault.  Victim stated that suspect had threatened her and her son with a kitchen knife.  Victim stated that the suspect had pushed her down.  While deputies were enroute to the location suspect fled the area.  Deputies located the suspect and conducted a traffic stop.  Suspect admitted to threatening his wife and son and also admitted to drinking alcoholic beverages.  Suspect showed signs of impairment.  Suspect was arrested and submitted to a breath test in which his BrAC results were .13.  Suspect did have an open container of Coors Beer inside the vehicle.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Case#: 0212014614/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 09/15/12

Location:  Forest Road 306, Santa Fe, NM (Borrego Mesa)

On 9/15/12 deputy was dispatched to a residence off of Santa Fe County Rd. 84A in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that they were on a field trip on Forest Road 306 in the Borrego Mesa area.  Victims stated that they left their vehicle at about 1200 and returned at 1600 hours and noticed that their front driver's side window was broken.  Victim stated that the suspects stole her purse which contained her driver's license, misc. credit cards, social security card.  Second victim stated that his wallet which was inside the purse was also stolen and contained his driver's license and misc. credit cards.  Both victims stated that their credit/debit cards were already used prior to getting cancelled.   Victim also stated that the suspects had taken a radar detector and a Sony Explode CD player.   Estimated value of the items taken is $689.00.  Estimated damage amount is $1000.00

Case#: 0212014623/ Burglary, Larceny/ Date: 09/15/12

Location:  residence off of Olsen Avenue, Edgewood, NM

On 9/15/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that sometime between 0900 and 2100 hours unknown suspects entered her residence through an open window.  Victim stated that the suspects took misc. gold jewelry from within.  Victim stated that she noticed that her rear door was left unsecured when she arrived home.  Estimated value of the items taken is $1,142.00.  No damage was found in the residence.

Case # 0212014616 Motor Vehicle Crash Fatality

Deputy Assigned:  Deputy Shannon Coles

Location:  Interstate 25, Mile Marker 290

Vehicle:  Blue, 2001, Ford, Expedition

Driver:  Crystal T. Sione, 40, Las Vegas, NM

Victim:  Alani Tuineau Sione, 51, Las Vegas, NM

On Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 7:14 PM the driver was operating the vehicle north at the location in the outside lane.when the right rear tire seperated causing the driver to loose control of the vehicle.  The vehicle rolled multiple times prior to leaving the roadway on the right side.  The vehicle then rolled several more times down a dirt embankment. The victim was ejected from the vehicle and sustaained severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver and six other occupants were transported to Christus Saint Vincent Regional Medical Center for treatment.  One was further transported transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital for further treatment.  All are in stable condition.  Alcohol does not appear to  be a factor in this crash.  The investigation is continuing.

On this date Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Victim displayed signs that a battery had occurred, victim also stated suspect brandished a kitchen knife at him after a brief physical altercation. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

On above date Victim reported that on this date at about 8:10 P.M. an unknown person(s) broke the front driver side window on her vehicle and stole the above items.

The above listed items stolen were valued at about $125.00

0212014569 Burglary / Larceny 09/14/2012

Location: Camino Capilla Vieja (La Cienega area)

Stolen: $165.00

On this date at about 7:30pm some unknown person knocked on the victim’s door and asked for a can of tuna to feed suspects cat. Victim told subject to wait outside the front door, when victim walked away the suspect entered the residence and took money from victim’s wallet sitting on a table next to the door. Suspect fled the area before the victim returned to the door.
