Victim reports on today's date at the above location several pieces of jewelry were taken from a jewelry box she had hidden within home.  Last time victim remembers seeing the jewelry was two months prior to today's date.  Case still pending investigation.

Victim reported that sometime between September 12, 2012 at 3:00 pm and september 13, 2012 at 9:20am unknown person(s) gained unauthorized forced entery into the business and stole the above item. This case is stil under investigation.

The above listed item was valued at about $600.00

Stolen: Xbox 360 console, Halo controller, Xbox charger, headset

Arrested: Dominic Cantu (age 22)

Victim reported that on 9-13-12 between 7:00am and 2:00pm a Dominic Cantu gained gained unauthorized entry into his residence through a rear door and stole the above stated items. Suspect attempted to sell the items at a local game store here inSanta Fe. An arrest warrant was drafted and approved and was served on the suspect at the Santa Fe County Jail. Case is still under investigation.

The value of the items stolen was estimated by the victim at $190.00.

Victim reported to Deputy that on todays date he was notified by his financial institution that he had insufficient funds. He learned that unknown persons had stolen his bank account information and was able to withdraw funds without his permission. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Juvenal Mendez-Chavez   Age: 36   Santa Fe

Mendez-Chavez was arrested for Burglary after he was observed by deputies exiting the property with a car full of electric power tools and a generator.  Stolen items totaled $2600.00. Mendez-Chavez was booked without incident.

0212014336 / Unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon on school grounds / 09-10-2012

School staff reported to Deputies on that on Friday, September 7,2012 a parent entered school grounds and had a large knife attached to his hip in a sheath. Staff stated they contacted the suspect and told him he needed to leave. Case is under investigation.

Suspect:  Sergio Contreras,, age 46, Albuquerque, NM

Charged:  Driving on a suspended/revoked driver's license, No Insurance, Following to Close

On 9/10/12 at approximately 1230 hours deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a Motor Vehicle Crash.  As deputy was obtaining information, it was learned that the suspect was driving on a suspended/revoked driver's license with the arrest clause.  Suspect was cited for the crash for following to close and suspect did not provide insurance for the vehicle.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
