Nathan Segura Location: US Highway 84-285/ State Road 599 Arrested: Jose Herrera On 8-19-12 Deputies responded to a rolling domestic dispute on US Highway 84/285. Vehicle was located and stopped at State Road 599. Contact was made with the vehicle occupants. Victim reported she was battered by the above suspect and sustained minor injuries. The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Jail

On 8-19-12 Deputies responded to the above road in reference to an unattended death. The victim (53 year old male) was found unresponsive by his girlfriend in his bedroom. It was undetermined at this time what the exact cause of death was but appears to be of natural causes. There were no signs of foul play at the scene. Case is still under investigation.

Suspect: Shantel Gallegos, age 28, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Trafficking a controlled substance, Bringing contraband into a place of imprisonment, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
On 8/19/12 at 1421 hours deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a narcotics violation. Complainant advised that 2 corrections officers caught the suspect trying to pass contraband underneath the door at the jail. Complainant stated that they witnessed the suspect throw a vacuum packed plastic bag and a rubber glove with a string attached under the door. Inside the bag was several orange pills and white pills, a green leafy substance, a white plastic baggie with a brown substance, 3 syringe needles, and cigarettes. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: Rio En Medio Trail Head, Santa Fe, NM
On 8/18/12 deputy was dispatched to make contact with the victim in reference to a burglary. Victim stated his vehicle was broken into between 0900 and 1500 hours on today's date. Victim stated that he parked his vehicle at the trailhead and went for a hike. Victim stated that unknown persons broke the right rear window and moved an item in the vehicle. Victim stated that nothing was taken. Estimated damage amount is $250.00.

On 8/19/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a larceny. Victim stated that between 7/30/12 and today unknown persons entered his property and took a gray Miller air unit, a tan swamp cooler, a white window cooler unit, 4 Chevy chrome rims and a child's go-cart. Victim also stated that the unknown persons damaged the driver's side window and rear window to his vehicle. Estimated value of items taken is $2,200.00. Estimated damage amount is $650.00.

On 8/18/12 victim reported that her vehicle was broken into while it was parked at the FOP between the hours of 1600 and 1630. Victim stated that the suspects took her purse which contained misc. items and $500.00. Estimated value of items taken is $610.00. Estimated damage amount is $300.00.

On 8/18/12 deputy was dispatched to a burglary. Victim stated she left on 8/15/12 1030 hours and 8/18/12 at 1630 hours to find a south facing door pried open. Victim stated that the suspects took a 2 strand pink coral necklace and a Zuni pendant. Estimated value of items taken is $275.00. Estimated damage amount is $500.00.

It id unclear if anything was taken from the vehicle at this time but entry was made into the vehicle. This case is currently under investigation.

Victim reported on Saturday August 18, 2012 between the hours of 10:30am and 11:50am unknown person(s) burglarized there vehicle. Forced entry was made by breaking a side window to the vehicle. The above items were taken from the vehicle. This case is currently under investigation.
