Case#: 0212012874/ Breaking and Entering, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 8/17/12

Location:  residence off of Camino Los Gardunos, Santa Fe, NM

On 8/17/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to an attempted burglary.  Victim stated that this wife heard someone at the south facing door to the residence and told him.  Victim went to the rear of the residence and found the window screen and bottom window on the door removed and laying on the ground. Victim did not seen anyone or any vehicles in the area.  A partial shoe impression was located outside the residence.  Estimated damage amount is $150.00.

Suspect/Arrested: Joaquin Santago Montano ( 25 years of age) of 121 Calle Del Pajarito Espanola NM

On 08-16-2012 the above mentioned subject was arrested on a Arrest Order with Probation for failure to comply on the original charge of embezzlement.  Suspect was also arrested on a bench warrant on a grand jury indictment for embezzlement over 2500. 

0212012483 Negligent use of a Firearm / Resisting 8/17/2012

Location: Westwind Santa Fe NM (Rancho Viejo area)

Arrested: Monica Lovato age 34, Santa Fe NM

On this date Deputies responded to the above area in reference to gunshots upon arrival the above suspect was located arguing with her mother holding a handgun. Suspect refused to put the gun down when ordered to. Suspect was tased and taken into custody. Two spent shell casings were located in the driveway, Suspect was arrested on the above charges.

Location:  Santa Fe County Detention Center, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Jerome Cordova, 26, Santa Cruz, NM

Charged:  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

On Friday, August 17, 2012 at 12:56 AM deputies responded to the location in reference to an inmate being found with a syringe.  The syringe was located on the suspect's person as he was being searched prior to being moved to a different housing unit.  The syringe did not contain a controlled substance and/or residue.

Case#: 0212012802/ Possession of a Controlled Substance to wit: Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Parapherna

Location:  28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM (Santa Fe Adult Detention Ctr)

Suspect:  Deanna Holt, age 28, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Possession of a controlled substance to wit:  Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

On 8/16/12 deputy responded to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to an inmate being in possession of a controlled substance in the Recreation Area.  One of the Corrections Officers observed the suspect stuff an item into her bra and confronted her.  It was learned that the items were a black tar substance and a green leafy substance and a syringe.  Suspect was then rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 8/16/12 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim reports unknown persons gained entry into her residence sometime between the dates of 8/15/12 at 0800 hours and 8/16/12 at 1700 hours.  Victim stated that unknown persons took $20.00 in change and a jewelry box with misc. jewelry.  Estimated value of items taken is $420.00.

Location:  residence off of Southfork, Santa Fe, NM (Silverado Subdivision)

On 8/16/12 deputy responded to above location in reference to an attempted burglary.  Victim stated that between the hours of 1600 and 1900, unknown persons attempted to gain enty into her residence by pushing in the press board to the front door window and reaching in and attempting to unlock the door.  Victim stated that the suspects did not gain entry.  Estimated damage amount is $50.00.

Location:  US Highway 84/285, Mile Marker 181, Pojoaque, NM

Vehicle:  Red, 2000, Mitsubishi, 2 door

Suspect:  Jesse Maestas, 34, Alcade, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Driving While License Suspended or Revoked

On Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 7:30 PM the above vehicle was reported as being operated recklessly.  The vehiclie was subsequently located at the location on the shoulder of the roadway and the suspect was determined to be in physical control of the vehicle.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the suspect''s New Mexico Driver's license is revoked with the Arrest Clause Attached.  As a  result the vehicle was siezed in accordance with Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 (DWI Vehicle Seizure)

On 8/15/12 deputy stopped at above address to serve paperwork in which it was learned that the suspect had 2 bench warrants out of Santa Fe Municipal Court for failure to appear and failure to comply with conditions of probation.  Suspect was arrested, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
