Case# 0212012710 Abandonment or Abuse of a Child

Deputy Assigned:  Deputy Lawrence Martinez

Location:  200 Block, Santeros Road, Santa Fe, NM

Victim:  Female, 15, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Jeremiah Reynolds, 37, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Abandonment or Abuse of a Child.

On Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 12:30 AM the suspect was involved in a verbal altercation with his girl friend at a residence at the location.  The victim attempted to halt the altercation at which time it became physical.  The suspect struck the victim on the left side of her face with a closed fist  and pushed her to the floor.  The victim sustained minor injuries to her face and torso but declined medical attention.

0212012709 Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle

Deputy assigned: Joseph Barela

Location: 3991 Camino Juliana (Airport Roadarea)

Stolen: 2004 Chevy full size pk (blue in color)

Victim reported that sometime between 7:00am and 7:15am on 8/13/2012, her ex boyfriend unlawfully stolen her 2004 Chevy pick up truck. Case is still under investigation. Vehicle was unable to be entered in NCIC as a stolen motor vehicle due to lack of vehicle information.

0212012658/ Criminal Damage to Property/ 08-14-2012

Location: Alondra Road- Eldorado

Damage: Custom made door

Value: $1,000.00

On 08-14-12 the complainant stated on 08-13-12 someone damaged an interior door connecting the main house to an attached apartment. According to the complainant the door was pryed open. The complainant estimated the damage at $1,000.00. The case is under investigation.

0212012599/ Commercial Burglary/ 08-13-12

Deputy Assigned: R. Ulibarri

Commander Entering; Sgt. J. Rodriguez

Location: 4100 S. Meadow Road (Sweeney Elementary) Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Two commercial grade batteries for heavy equipment, 500ft of Category 6 copper wire, 1,000ft of Category 3 wire.

Value: $12,314.00

On 08-13-12 the reporting party advised over the weekent (08-10-12 to 08-13-12) someone removed the above listed items from the property. The batteries were taken from a backhoe and a forklift. The wire was removed from inside the school. There were no signs of forced entry do to the school being renovated. This case is currently under investigation.

0212012617, Battery against Household Member, 8/14/12

Location: 100 block of Los Pinos Rd   La Cienega

Suspect: Danny Romero  Age: 30  Santa Fe

Danny Romero was arrested for Battery against a Household Member after deputies responded to a domestic dispute and discovered that he had kicked and punched a family member causing minor injury.

0212012652 Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle 8-13-12

Deputy assigned: Adrienne Ames

Location:State Road503/ Cerro Pinion (Nambe area)

Stolen: 1993 Ford Bronco (green in color)

Victim reported that sometime between 5:00pm and 7:30pm on 8/13/2012 and he parked his vehicle on Cerro Pinion near State Road 503 while he went for a hike. When he returned the vehicle was gone. Case is still under investigation. Vehicle was entered in NCIC as a stolen motor vehicle.

Case#:0212012631/Burglary, Larceny, Forgery, Fraud/Date: 08-13-2012

Location: Verano Loop, Santa Fe, NM (Eldorado Area)

Stolen: Checkbook

Victim reports suspect gained unlawful entry into the above location sometime between August 1, 2012 and August 5, 2012 and stole the above item.  Suspect then forged a check valued at $235.00.  Case still pending investigation.

Case#:0212012619/Attempted Breaking and Entering, Criminal Damage to Property/Date: 08-13-12

Location: Tango Road, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque Area)

Victim reports unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into a shed at the above location between the hours of 5:30pm on August 9, 2012 and 11:00am on August 13, 2012.  The latch to the shed was damaged.  Estimated damage $15.00. Case still pending investigation.

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM (Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center)

Suspect: Danny Romero 30 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery

Victim and above suspect were housed in the same cell when victim reported he was struck in the head and left side by suspect.  Suspect was booked at charged on the above charge without further incident.

0212012603/ Aggravated Burglary/ 08-13-12

Location: Los Lujans Road- Santa Cruz, NM

Stolen: 12 Gauge Shotgun (Unknown Make/Model)

Value: $300.00

On 08-13-12 the victim reported someone entered his residence and stole the above listed item. The victim was away from his residence on 08-08-12 and noticed today the above items was missing. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. The victim believes a family member may be involved. The victim could not recall the make or model of shotgun. The victim also did not have any paperwork on the weapon. This case is currently under investigation.
