Stolen: Power drill, bullet blender, socket tool set, and book bag Total Estimated Value: $230.00

Victim reports sometime between the hours of 12:00pm and 7:00pm unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful forced entry into the above location.  Entry was made through the front door by breaking the glass.  Once inside the above items were taken.  Total estimated value of damage: $300.00.  Case still pending investigation.

0212000836 Burglary 1-15-12

Location: 48 Cerro Circle (Eldorado area)

Stolen: 32" Vizio flat screen tv, PS3 game console, remotes, gun and wand for PS3,15-20 dvd's and movies,

Victim reported that she made arrangement for an acquaintance to pick up his belongings from her residence on 1-15-12. Sometime between 1:30pm and 7:00pm on 1-15-12 the acquaintance went to the victim's residence and in stead took the above stated items and not his belongings. Case is still under investigation.

The above listed items were valued at about $1480.00

02.12.000786 / Driving on a Revoked Drivers License / 01.15.2012

Location: Toltec and Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Joseph Ortega, age 46, Santa Fe

On January 14, 2012 contact was made with the above listed defendant after he was observed driving after a reported larceny in progress. During the course of the investigation, he drivers license was found to be revoked. Suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Case#0212000866 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property / 01-15-2012

Deputy Assigned: S. Hernandez

Commander Entering: Cpl. M. Delgado

Location: Residence in Country Club Gardens Mobile Home Park off Airport Road

Items stolen: Various DVD's, X-Box games, Nintendo Wii games, X-Box, Nintendo Wii, other misc. electronics, gold and silver womans rings along with otuer misc. jewelry, dog clothing and various other items valued at approximately $5,430.00

Item Damaged: window valued at $200.00.

On 01-15-2012 between the hours of 2:00pm and 7:00pm unknown suspects forced entry into the victims home by breaking a window.  Once entry was gained they entered the home and stole the above listed property.

Location: Residence on Calle Inez, Airport Road area of Santa Fe County

Items stolen: 1 Pioneer car stereo valued at $120.00

On 01-14-2012 at about 8:45p.m. the victim reported someone entered the victim's Chevrolet Aveo between the hours of 7:00p.m. to 8:30p.m. by unknown means and stole the car stereo from within.  There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.

Location: Residence on Calle Inez, Airport Road area of Santa Fe County

Items stolen: 1 Sony car stereo valued at $100.00

    On 01-14-2012 at about 8:45p.m. the victim reported someone entered the victim's Chevrolet truck through an unlocked door and stole the car stereo from within.  The victim stated the crime could have taken place anytime within the past two days.

Case#0212000821 / Death Investigation / 01-14-2012

Deputy Assigned: D. Romero

Location: Residence in the Old Santa Fe Trail area of Santa Fe County

    On 01-14-2012 at about 8:40p.m. Deputies were dispatched to the residence in reference to an unconcious 80-year-old male, not breathing.  Deputies and paramedics arrived on scene and found the male deceased.  The male suffered from heart disease and it appears he died from natural causes.  There were no signs of foul play discovered.

Case#: 0212000790/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 01/14/12

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Julie York

Commander entering:  Lt. Linda Ortiz

Location:  residence off of Conchas Place, Santa Fe, NM (Eldorado)

On 1/14/12 deputy was dispatched to above address in reference to a burglary.  Complainant advised that he was watching the house for the homeowner and noticed that someone had gained entry into the victim's residence through a doggie door.  Complainant stated that someone has been going into the residence and sitting on the furniture and eating cookies which were in a container in the cabinet along with Fiber one bars.  Estimated  value of items missing is $9.00.  Estimated damage amount to the doggie door is $150.00.

Case#: 0212000805/ Burglary, Larceny/ Date: 01/14/12

Location:  residence off of Estacada Road, Santa Fe, NM (Eldorado)

On 1/14/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that he left his vehicle unlocked on 12/30/11 and went to his vehicle the next morning to get his Palm PDA and noticed it was missing.  Victim stated that his glove box was found open and items thrown in the cab of the truck.  Estimated value of item taken is $310.00.

Location:  3800 block of  Madison Rd., SantaFe, NM (Riverside MHP)

On 1/14/12 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to aa burglary.  Vicim stated between 1830 and 1900 hours suspects entered his vehicle which was unlocked.  Victim stated suspects took his checkbook, an Evo phone, a radar detector, a Makita drill, a toolbox with misc. tools and a portable DVD player.  Estimated value of items taken is $890.00.
