021200253 Driving on a Revoked License 1-5-12

Arrested: Juan Gomez 24yrs

On 1-5-12, 24 yr old Juan Gomez was stopped for a traffic violation on Avenida Del Sur and Rancho Viejo Blvd. It was found that he was driving on a revoked driver's license. He was arrested as booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Jail. The vehicle was seized as per Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance.

Location: Residence in the Pojoaque Terrace mobile home park

Arrested: 16-year-old male from Pojoaque New Mexico

    On 01-05-2012 at about 9:30p.m. two vehicles were involved in a road rage incident on US 84/285 in Pojoaque.  The suspect vehicle followed the victim to the victim's residence in the Pojoaque Terrace mobile home park where the suspect, a 16-year-old male brandished a double edge ax and threatened the victim.  The suspect was located and arrested.

Location:  3800 block of Riverside Drive, Santa Fe, NM (Riverside MHP)

On 1/5/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.  Victim stated that someone had taken her 2000 Pontiac Grand Am white in color bearing NM FRW445.  Victim estimated the value to be about $2000.00.  Victim stated that the vehicle was taken between 0900 and 1800 hours.

Charged:  Bench warrant for Failure to comply with conditions of release from the Electronic Monitoring Program

On 1/5/12 deputy was dispatched to above location to serve a warrrant on the suspect for failure to comply with conditions of release from the Electronic Monitoring Program.  Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 1/5/12 deputy was dispatched over to the above location in reference to picking up the suspect and serving him with the above stated warrant for Failure to comply with conditions of release from the Electronic Monitoring Program.  Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 1-4-12 victim reported that a 25 year old male subject brandished a small black semi automatic pistol while engaged in a verbal dispute at the above stated intersection. The investigation is still ongoing.

Arrested: Adelita Valencia 32 year old Female, Santa Fe NM

On this date Adelita Valencia was stopped at the above location for a traffic violation. She was found to be driving on a revoked driver's license. She was arrested and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Detention Center. The vehicle was impounded as per Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance.

Case# 0212000250 / Aggravated DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic / 01-04-2012

Location: Mile Marker 167 on Northbound US 84/285

Arrested: Sanger R. Najarro, 36-year-old male from Pojoaque New Mexico

Charges: same as listed above

    On 01-04-2012 at about 11:50p.m. a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Najarro's vehicle, a black in color 1995 Nissan maxima after it was observed weaving in and out of its lane of travel on Northbound US 84/285.  Contact was made with Mr. Najarro who showed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming three beers prior to driving.  He failed fiels sobriety tests and refused to submitt to a breath test.  He was placed under arrest on the above listed charges and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Location: 2300 block of Casa Rufina, SF, NM (Rufina Area)

Suspect: Pending

In April of 2010 victim allowed a friend to invest $250,942.68 of victim's retirement.  Victim received returns on the investment in July of 2011 but stopped receiving  the money returns.  Victim reports they started noticing unusual charges on credit cards entrusted to the friend.  Amounts on the credit cards were estimated at $70,000.00.  Case still pending investigation.

Case#:0212000223/Bringing Contraband into a place of Imprisonment, Posession of a Controlled Substance/Date:1-4-2012

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, SF (Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center)

Suspect: Moda Bentley 38 yoa male, SF, NM

Charges: Bringing Contraband into a place of imprisonment, and Posession of a Controlled Substance

Correction Officers found the above suspect in posession of a controlled substance while he was being housed at the facility on unrelated charges.  The above suspect was booked and charged on the above charges.
