Location: 1600 block of NM Hwy 14 (San Pedro area)
Damaged: 60' Mining Conveyor belt
Victim stated that some unknown person(s) attempted to steal a 60ft Red in color mining conveyor belt, by cutting the conveyor belt in half and placing it on a flat bed trailer. The trailer had two flat tires on the right side and was missing the license plate.
The damage was estimated to be about $8000.00

Victim: Female, 84, Los Alamos, NM
On December 31, 2011 at 5:22 PM the victim was operating the vehicle west at the location when she sustained an unknown medical emergency. As a result the vehicle left the roadway on the right side and went through a barb wire fence. The vehicle then went into a field where it struck two trees before coming to rest. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this crash,. Next of kin notification is still pending at this time as possible relatives reside out of state.

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION. VICTIM REPORTED HER EX-BOYFREIND HAD FORCED HIS WAY INTO HER HOUSE AFTER FAMILY MEMBERS WENT OUTSIDE TO SEE WHAT WAS PICKING ON THE WINDOWS. VICTIM REPORTED SUSPECT PUSHED HER OUT OF THE WAY AS HE WENT BACK TO HER BEDROOM, YELLING THAT HE WANTED HIS PROPERTY BACK. VICTIM STATED SHE HAD RETURNED HIS PROPERTY TWO WEEKS AGO AND KEPT TELLING HIM TO LEAVE. VICTIMS FAMILY MEMBER WAS ABLE TO GET SUSPECT OUT OF THE HOUSE AND HE FLEED THE AREA. A WARRANT IS BEING ISSUSED FOR HIS ARREST. CASE UNDER INVESTIGATION..

CHARGES: DWI, DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED DRIVERS LICENSE, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
ON THIS DATE SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED DRIVING ON COUNTY ROAD #73, THEN PULLED OFF OF ROADWAY AND TURNED OFF HEADLIGHTS. DEPUTY STOPPED TO CHECK ON SUSPECT AND FOUND THAT SHE HAD BEEN DRINKING. DWI OFFICER WAS CONTACTED AND WHEN HE ARRIVED HE STARTED A DWI INVESTIGATION. SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO BE INTOXICATED AND DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE. SUSPECT WAS ALSO FOUND TO HAVE DRUG PARAPHERNALIA IN HER POSSESSION. SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON THE ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED. SUSPECTS VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, DEPUTY OBSERVED SUSPECT DRIVING ON ZAFARANO WITH NO HEADLIGHTS. SUSPECT WAS STOPPED AND FOUND TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE. DWI INVESTIGATION WAS COMPLETED AND SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED AND TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL FOR A BLOOD DRAW. SUSPECTS VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, RUAL RODRIGUEZ WAS STOPPED BY DEPUTY FOR A MINOR TRAFFIC VIOLATION. DURING INVESTIGATION RUAL AND HIS PASSENGER MONIQUE dIAZ WERE FOUND TO BE IN POSSESSION OF COCAINE, HEROIN, MARIJUANA UNDER ONE OUNCE AND A PIPES USE FOR MARIJUANA AND COCAINE. BOTH WERE ARRESTED AND TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED. THE VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

On 12/31/11 another deputy was investigating a call at a residence off of Calle Nueva Vista in which that victim stated that she observed her neighbors rear door damaged and ajar. Deputies went to check the residence and noticed that the residence had been burglarized and the rear door was damaged. The residence had been ransacked. It is unknown at this time what was taken. Estimated damage amount is $300.00.

On 12/31/11 victim reported that she returned home at 1445 hours and discovered that some unknown persons had removed a window screen to a north facing window to her residence. Victim stated that she believes the unknown suspects were attempting to gain entry into her residence. There was no damage to victims window, screen or residence.

Location: residence off of Mariquita Court, Santa Fe, NM (Conejo Estates)
On 12/31/11 deputy was dispatched to above area in reference to a burglary. Complainant advised that on December 25, 2011 at 1400 hours she had checked the residence. Complainant stated that she received a call from a realtor who was showing the home advising that the front door was wide open. Complainant arrived at the home and found the oven, several light fixtures, ceiling fans, the boiler, a water heater, a thermostat, and the LNB from the satellite dish missing from within the residence. Estimated value of items taken is $10,865. There was no damage to the door.
