Location: W. Camino Esperanza (Aldea Area)

Victim reported that some unknown person(s) used her American Express account to purchase 4 plane tickets to the Dominican Republic and 4 to Costa Rica. Victim was unsure how anyone had came into contact with her card number due to the fact that she still has it in hand.

The above charges were valued at about $5797.00

Case#:0211019135/Aggravated Residential Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/Date: 12-29-2011

Deputy Assigned: Deputy L. Martinez

Commander Entering: Cpl. D. Anaya

Location: 17000 Block of US 84/285, SF, NM (Cuyamungue Area)

Stolen: Bottle of Brandy Liquor, Silver Concha Belt, Misc. Costume Jewelry, 3 Antique Hunting Knives, and Numerous Silver Bracelets Estimated Total Value: $1,480.00

Victim reports between the dates of 12/23/2011 at 12pm and today's date at 7:30pm unknown persons gained unauthorized entry to the above location.  Once inside the above items were stolen.  Four Porcelain jewlery boxes were damaged.  Estimated Value of Damage $210.00.  Pry marks were located on the front door.  Case still pending investigation.

Stolen: Misc. Jewelry, Black Purse, and $8.00 in US Currency

Total Estimated Value: $1, 218.00

Victim reports sometime between 4:00pm on 12/28/11 adn 1:30pm on todays date someone stole the above items that were kept in a wooden filing cabinet.  Case still under investigation.

Stolen: Acoustic Electric Guitar, Guitar hard case, $4.00 in US Currency Estimated Total Value: $354.00

Victim reports that between 0645 and 1630 hours on today's date unknown persons gained unlawful entry through the front door by kicking it in, and causing $415.00 in damage.  Once inside the above items were stolen.  Case still pending investigation.

Case#:0211019120/ Residential Burglary, Larceny/Date: 12-29-2011

Location: 300 Block of Rabbit Road, SF, NM (Off St. Francis Drive)

Stolen: Flat Screen Television, Computer Monitor, X Box 360 w/ comtroller, Black Wallet, Social Security, NM ID, and $30.00 in cash.  Estimated Value: $1,370.00

Suspect: Pending

Victim reports sometime between the hours of 1525 and 1545 someone unlawfully entered the above residence through an unlocked kitchen window.  Victim advised the above listed items were stolen from within the residence.  A light grey in color Chevy Blazer was last seen in the area during the time of the burglary.  Case still pending investigation.

Case# 0211019085 Death Investigation

Deputy Assigned:  Deputy Gerald Lovato

Commander Entering:  Lieutenant Joe McLaughlin

Location:  100 Block, SFC 84, Pojoaque, NM

Victim:  Benito Valdez, 77, Pojoaque, NM

On December 29, 2011 at 2:42 AM deputies responded to a residence at the location in reference to an unresponsive male.  Upon arrival the victim was located unresposive and not breathing.  Attempts to revive the victim met with negative results.  The victim has a history of medical conditions.  Foul play is not suspected in this death.

Case#0211019076 / Fraud, Conspiracy / 12-28-2011

Deputy Assigned: C. Archuleta

Location: Cities of Gold Casino, Pojoaque N.M.

Arrested: Lana Harriman, 32-year-old female from Albuquerque N.M.

                  Micah Alvarez, 38-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

                  James Tindell, 35-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

     On 12-28-2011 at approximately 9:30p.m. the Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the Cities of Gold Casino in reference to a female attempting to cash a fraudulent check. Upon arrival further investigation revealed Lana Harriman attempted to cash a fraudulent $1,500.00 check at the casino.  Accompanying her were Micah Alvarez and James Tindell.  All three individuals were found to be in possession of check making materials.  They were arrested and charged with fraud and conspiracy.

Case#: 0211019060/Arson, Recovered Stolen Motor Vehicle/Date: 12-28-2011

Location: Las Cuatro Milpas, SF, NM (Mutt Nelson Area)

Suspect: Pending

Recovered: 2007 Ford F150 White in color Estimated Value: $6,000.00

On the above date deputies responded to the above location in reference to a vehicle fire.  It was discovered the above vehicle was reported stolen on December 23, 2011.  The vehicle was complete lost due to the fire.  Case still pending investigation.

Case#: 0211019039/ Fraud/ Date: 12/28/11

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Julie York

Commander entering:  Lt. Linda Ortiz

Location:  residence off of Sky Island Road, Santa Fe, NM (off of Old Santa Fe Trl.)

On 12/28/11 deputy was dispatched to above residence in reference to a 911 hang up call.  Deputy met with the victim who stated that she received a call from a male stating he was from Purchase Power Solutions and wanted to help her consolidate her credit card debt.  Victim stated that they asked for her personal information and she gave it to them.  Victim stated that they began to ask for her credit card information in which she also gave them the information.  Victim stated that she then realized what she had done and made sure there was no charges on her accounts.  Victim then cancelled all of her credit cards.  It was also learned that there was no such company.

Case#: 0211019052/ Burglary, Larceny/ Date: 12/28/11

Location:  residence off of Prairie Dog Loop, Santa Fe, NM (off of SFC Rd. 62)

On 12/28/11 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that he went outside to start his vehicle and it would not start.  Victim stated that as he was checking his engine and the fuse box, he noticed that 2 20 amp fuse boxes were missing from inside the engine compartment. Victim stated that he last started his vehicle on Christmas Day.   He stated that the unknown persons may have taken the items between today and Christmas.  Estimated value of items taken is $200.00.
