Stolen: Subaru 5000 generator, (2) two Echo leaf blowers.

Damaged: Master padlock

On the above date, victim report that between 12.09.2011 at 5:00 p.m. and 12.10.2011 3:13 p.m. unknown suspect(s) unlawfully gained forced entry into the business storage unit. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed the above stated items. This case is pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 1,075.00

0211018156 Death Investigation 12-10-2011

Location: Cowboy lane (Arroyo Seco area) Santa Fe NM

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (73 year old male) was found unresponsive by family members. It was undetermined at this time what the exact cause of death was but appears to be of natural causes. There were no signs of foul play at the scene.

Victim reports two front rims and tires were stolen from 2002 Chevrolet Cobalt between 12/8/11 and 12/9/11.  Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Daniel Nieto  Age: 31  Edgewood NM

Deputies responded to Domestic Dispute on Estrella Vista Dr. in Edgewood and discovered that Daniel Nieto had battered a household member causing minor injury.  Nieto also damaged the cieling and floor tiles in the home.  He was arrested and booked accordingly.

Vehicle:  White, 1985, Toyota, Pick-up

Suspect:  James Martin, 41, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic

On December 9, 2011 at 8:21 PM Martin was operating the vehicle north at the location when he traveled straight in a mandatory right turn lane.  Martin was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.

Location: residence off of Paseo los Pereas, Santa Fe, NM (La Cienega)

On 12/9/11 deputies responded to a burglary at the above residence.  Victim stated that forced entry was through the rear window of the residence.  Victim stated that unknown suspects broke the window with an unknown object.  Victim stated that several power tools were taken.  Estimated value of the items taken were $2,880.00.  Victim stated that this occurred between 1430 and 2000 hours on todays date.  Estimated damage amount is pending.

on a warrant issued by the First Judicial District Court for Failure to Comply with Electronic

Monitoring on the original charge of Burglary.

Deputies responded to assist ambulance with un-responsive 72 yr old male adult.  Male subject had no vital signs and a long medical history.  Subject was deceased upon arrival.  No signs of foul play observed or suspected.  Case is under investigation.

On 12/8/11 deputy responded to the Santa Fe Police Department in reference to a identity theft.  Victim stated that her probation officer had called her and stated that someone was booked under her name and date of birth.  Victim stated that the probation officer showed her the photo and she stated that it was a friend of hers.  Victim stated that she needed to file a report to clear her name from the recent incident.
