Case#: 0211017106/ Aggravated Burglary, Larceny/ Date: 11/18/11

Location:  residence off of East Lower Firehouse Road, Espanola, NM

On 11/18/11, Deputies responded to above location in reference to a Burglary. Victim advised his wife left their home around 11:30 AM, today (11/18/11) to work and he returned today around 5:00 PM. Victim advised upon entering his home, he noticed the interior in disarray and items missing from inside.  Victim stated that misc handtools, 2 Pocket Knives, Nikon Camera, Tamaron Lens, Microphone, Garmin GPS, Thinkpad Laptop Computer, Cannon Digital Camera, Panasonic Digital Camera, 2 Handheld Radios, Lincoln Mig Welder, .22 Caliber Revolver Hangun, Brauniger GPS.  Upon further investigation of the home, it appeared the unknown person(s) gained entry to the residence through a dog door, located on the south end of the home. Estimated value of items taken is $5872.00.

Case#: 0211017097/ Death Investigation/ Date: 11/18/11

Location:  3300 block of Calle PoAePi, Santa Fe, NM (Casa Villita Apts.)

Victim:  60 year old white male, Santa Fe, NM

On 11/18/11 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a welfare check.  Landlord advised that he left several notices on the front door and has not seen the victim for about a week.  Deputy opened the front door and observed victim laying on the floor of the livingroom lifeless.  There did not appear to be signs of foul play.  OMI was contacted and took over the scene.

CASE 0211017069 / DWI, OPEN CONTAINER, ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC / 11-18-2011

COMMANDER:  SGT. CLIFTON L. COLEMAN

LOCATION:  AGUA FRIA / LOUREN LANE, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED:  MIGUEL S. MARTINEZ-HERRERA, 46 YOA MALE SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:   DWI, OPEN CONTAINER, ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED DRIVING DOWN THE CENTER OF THE ROADWAY AND AS IT APPROCHED.  THE VEHICLE TURNED ON ITS HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS, BLINDING DRIVER.  TRAFFIC STOP WAS CONDUCTED AND DRIVER WA FOUND TO HAVE AN OPEN CONTAINER OF BEER AND HAD BEEN DRINKING.  DRIVER WAS FOUND TO BE INTOXICANTED (.12BrAC)AND WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.   SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED.  VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

02.11.017045 / Robbery / 11.17.2011

Location: 7 Avienda Vista Grande, Eldorado Shopping Center

Stolen: Black leather purse, debit card, check book and vehicle keys.

On 11.17.2011 at approximately 3:08 p.m. suspect unlawfully stole the above items. Victim was walking back to her vehicle at the above location, when the suspect grabbed her purse and fled the area on foot. Suspect is pending further investigation.

Suspect is described as being thin and tall, brown hair, light skin, wearing a white mock shirt with blue jeans.

Stolen items were valued at under $100.00

Stolen: Solar lights, and damaged door

On the above date, victim report that between 11.16.2011 and 11.17.2011 unknown suspect(s) unlawfully gained forced entry into the above stated shed/location. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed the above stated items. This case is pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 230.00

Suspect/Arrested:  Lucas Baca (19 YOA), 14 Twin Rd, Santa Fe, NM

On November 17 2011, the above suspect was taken into custody from the above location on A Order Of Remand Burglary Charges, issued by the First Judicial Court and was then found with and charges for Possession Of a Controlled Substance.

0211017023 Death Investigation 11-17-2011

Location: Casa Rufina Apartments (Rufina area) Santa Fe NM

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (62 year old male) was found unresponsive by family members. It was undetermined at this time what the exact cause of death was but appears to be of natural causes. There were no signs of foul play at the scene.

Case#0211017055 / Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle / 11-16-2011

Location: Residence on Calle Del Arroyo, Santa Fe N.M.

Vehicle's stolen: 1959 Ford F-100, black in color and a 1975 Chevy Nova 2-door, orange in color.  Total value of $3,000.00

    Sometime between 11-15-2011 and 11-16-2011 unknown person(s) stole the two above listed vehicles from a residence on Calle Del Arroyo.  Neither of the vehicles were driveable and were either towed or placed on a trailer to be removed from the property.  No liicense plates were on the vehicles when they were stolen.
