Arrested: Charles Salazar - age 48, Santa Cruz, NM

Driver was stopped for exceeding the speed limit in the Santa Fe County Housing. He showed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming 6 beers prior to driving. He was placed under arrest and submitted to a breath test.  The results were .17 and .16. The driver also had a 12 year old boy in his vehicle at the time of stop and the driver was additionally charged with abuse of a child.

Driver was  stopped for failing to maintain a lane. The driver displayed signs of impairment when contacted by the deputy. He admitted to consuming 2 beers prior to driving. He was placed under arrest and submitted to a breath test. The results were .10 and .10. He was booked into ADC accordingly.

Arrested: Genevieve Viarreal-Gallegos - age 28, Santa Fe

The above driver was stopped for failing to maintain a lane. Upon contact with the driver, the deputy observed several signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and submitted to a breath test. The results were .15 and .16. The driver also had open containers in her vehicle and a revoked driver's license. She was booked into ADC accordingly.

Driver was stopped for driving in the turning lane and a check of his license showed it was revoked pursuint to a DWI. The driver was arrested and booked accordingly.

Location: SFC 73 - Tesuque

On the above date, the victim went to St. Vincent's hospital with a laceration to his hand. Deputy Padilla interviewed him at the hospital and the victim was uncooperative and evasive with his answers. The victim stated he was at a party but did not know where the party was nor who cut him. Suspects are unknown at this time.

Driver was stopped do to an obscured license plate. Upon making contact with the driver he was found to be impaired. Driver was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Act and agreed to a breath test. Driver was subsequently booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Sometime between 08-29-08 and 09-07-08 suspect(s) entered the residence by prying open the back door. Once inside the suspect(s) took two envelopes containing $500.00 each. Both envelopes were hidden in seperate places within the residence. 5 bottles of alcholic beverages from under the sink the kitchen cabinet.

Above driver was stopped for weaving and swerving on the roadway. The driver was found to be impaired and also had three children, ages 5,7, and 12, in the vehicle with him. The driver was arrested and submitted to a breath test. The results were .25 and .27. The driver was booked into ADC and the children were released to their grandparents.
