Case#: 0208007671/ Attempted Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 09/04/08

On 9/4/08, deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary in progress.  Upon investigation it was learned that entry into the residence was not gained.  An attempt to gain entry was made through south east corner window.  The rod iron was pryed open and window was broken.  Estimated value of damage is pending.

On the above date, the above named officer while patrolling at the above location came into contact with the defendant as the defendant almost caused a crash into another motorist.  The defendant failed field sobrity tests.  The defendant was arrested and booked accordingly.

Charged:  Agg. DWI, Roadways laned for traffic, Driver must be licensed, no insurance, improper display of registration

On 9/4/08 at 1847 hours a motor vehicle crash occurred at above area.  Suspect was being medically treated and displayed signs of impairment.  Suspect admitted to drinking alcoholic beverages as well as taking prescription medication.  Suspect submitted to a blood draw.  Results are pending.  Suspect did not have a valid driver's license and no insurance.  The registration plate did not belong to the vehicle.  Suspect was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

It was reported that sometime between August 25, 2008 and September 4, 2008 an unknown person(s) unlawfully entered into the old abandoned Sombrillo Elementary school and removed copper pipe, copper wire and a sink.  Total value of the items stolen is estimated at $5,100.00.  No supect or witness information is available at this time.

Victim reported that it is suspected that an employee has embezzled an estimated $200,000.00 from the Santa Fe Propane Company over a period of several years.  Further investigation into this matter is pending.

On the above date, the above named officer responded to the location regarding a reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival the victim advised that the defendant had arrived home intoxicated and began to accuse her of damaging his vehicle.  the victim then advised that the defendant then slapped her on the face causing pain and redness.  The defendant was arrested without incident and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility and booked accordingly.

0208007617 Poss. of Controlled Substance to-wit Marijuana 09-03-08

Charges: Poss. Marijuana under 8oz., Concealing Identity,and Driving Roadways Lned for traffic, Service of documents

On the above date, the above named officer witnessed the defendant driving recklessly on Airport Rd.  Upon making a traffic stop, the officer smelled burnt marijuana, which the defendant gave to him.  The defendant tried to give the officer false information on his identity.  It was learned taht the defendant had an active arrest order out of the Magistrate Court.  He was transported and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe Adult Detention Facility. 

Case: 0208007624/ Aggravated DWI, Roadways laned for traffic, Open Container/ Date: 09/04/08

Location of arrest:  Allsup's Convenience Store (State Road 14), Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Steven McClure, age 26, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Agg. DWI, Roadways laned for traffic, open container, Bench warrant out of Santa Fe Municipal Court charging failure to appear

On 9/4/08, Deputy observed driver cross the white right shoulder lane 3 times and initiated a traffic stop.  Vehicle was stopped at the Allsup's Convenience Store on State Road 14.  Suspect showed signs of impairment.  Suspect overheard RECC about an active bench warrant and had opened the door to his vehicle.  Suspect was arrested without incident.  An open can of beer was located in the center console.  Suspect was read NM Implied Consent and agreed to be tested.  Suspect BrAC was .15, .17.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
