On 08-23-08 at approximately 4:20pm, a traffic stop was conducted on a gold Oldsmobile Alero after the occupants were observed having a Domestic Dispute. The driver of the vehicle (Jennifer Nieto) was found to have a revoked driver's license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause. The passenger of the vehcle (Mario Medina) was found to have an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear out of the Santa Fe Magistrate Court. Both individuals were transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility and booked accordingly.

Case: 0208007299 / Abuse of a Child- Aggravated DWI- Open Container- Use of muilt-beam lights / 08-22-2008

Location:  Agua Fria Road / Lopez Lane area

Officer Assigned:  Deputy Brian Markley

Arrested:  Idalia E. Moreno, 29 yoa female

Charges:  Abuse of a child, aggravated DWI, Failure to dim lights, open container

On this date above listed suspect was east bound on Agua Fria, failed to dim lights.  Suspect was stopped by officer and was found to have open bottle of Corona beer.  Suspect was found to be intoxicated (.15 /.16 BrAC) and had a 13 yoa female child with her at the time.  Suspect was arrested and transported to the Adult Detention Center.

Case: 0208007294 / Abandonment or Abuse of a Child / 08-22-2008

Location:  6100 block of Airport Road / Jemez road Area

Officer Assigned: Deputy Venessa Hayes

Suspect: pending

Charges: Abandonment Abuse of a Child

On this date victims mother reported that her 9 yoa child was playing with suspects child when an altercation occurred between the children.  Victims child left and went home and armed himself with a squeegee came back to confront the other child when his mother stopped him and pushed victim out of yard and slapped him in the face several times.  Victim displayed injuries consistent with his statements.

Case: 0208007296 / Burglary-Larceny-Criminal Damage to Property / 08-22-2008

Location:  100 block of Coyote Crossing -  Old Las Vegas Highway area

Chages: Pending

On this date the above listed officer was sent to the area to meet with victim about her house, which is for sale being broken into.  Victim stated that a realtor contacted her yesterday about the appliances were missing.  She came up to day to check and found that they were in fact missing.  Entry was by force through a side door and then items were removed through another door.  Case is under investigation at this time.  No suspect information as of this date.

Case#: 0208007274/ Aggravated Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 08/21/08

Location:  300 block of State Road 76, Espanola, NM

On 8/21/08, victim wanted to report that his residence was broken into.  Victim stated that suspect entered his residence through a window on the north side by breaking it.  Victim stated that suspect took a .357 caliber handgun revolver from inside.  Estimated value of handgun is $400.00.  Estimated damage amount is $100.00.  No physical evidence is at the scene.

Case#: 0208007278/ Aggravated Assault against a household member, Shooting at or from a motor vehicle, Battery against a househ

Location:  7B Tusa Drive, Santa Fe, NM (Valle Vista Subdivision)

Suspect:  Albert Larranaga, age 41, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated Assault against a household member with a deadly weapon, Shooting at or from a motor vehicle, Battery against a household member, Negligent use of a weapon

On 8/21/08 deputies responded to the area regarding shots fired.  Upon arrival deputies came upon a violent domestic.  Victim advised that the suspect held a firearm to her head threatening to kill her.  Victim grabbed a knife in self defense and the suspect pulled it away cutting his hand.  A crime check caller advised that the suspect was shooting from his vehicle.  A spent casing was located inside the vehicle.  Suspect was intoxicated while handling the weapon.  Suspect also had pushed victim.  Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

CASE: 0208007275 / BATTERY AGAIST HOUSEHOLD MEMBER, CRUELTY TO ANIMAL, VIOLATION OF ORDER OF PROTECTION / 08-21-2008

LOCATION:  100 BLOCK OF RIO VISTA RUN / CHIMAYO AREA

OFFICER ASSIGNED:  SGT. CLIFTON COLEMAN

ARRESTED: SALOMON ARAGON, 29 YOA MALE / SUZIE TRUJILLO 34 YOA FEMALE

CHARGES: BATTERY ON A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER, CRUELTY TO ANIMAL AND VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

On this date deputies were sent to location due to a domestic in progress.  Investigation showed where Salomon Aragon had been involved in a domestic with his new girlfreind and was pushing her after she confronted him about being with his ex-girlfreind, Suzie Trujillo.  Salomon broke items in his house and all of the windows.  Salomon also shot his small dog in the front yard of the house.  Deputies found out that there is an order of protection between Salomon and Suzie.  Salomon was arrested for cruelty to animal, battery against household member andf violation of the order of protection.  Suzie was arrested for violation of an order of protection.  Both were transported to the Adult Detention Center.

LOCATION:  STATE ROAD 14, RANCHO VIEJO AREA

ARRESTED:  MARSHALL L. EDWARDS, 19 YOA MALE

CHARGES:  WARRANT FAILURE TO APPEAR

On this date above listed suspect was stopped for a traffic violation.  During investigation it was found that he had a Santa Fe City Municipal Court warrant for his arrest for failure to appear.  Suspect was arrested with out incident and transported to the Adult Detention Center.

Charge: Extreme Cruelty to Animals

The above named defendant was arrested without incident for using a buck knife to cut the throat of a neighbor's dog after it chased him while he was riding his bicycle. The dog underwent surgery and it appears will make a recovery. The defendant was arrested and booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Arrested: Miguel Hernandez-Gomez, 35 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

The above named individual was arrested following a traffic stop. The Deputies conducted a license check and learned of the outstanding bench warrant. The defendant was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Jail.
