On 07/22/2011 at about 1:28pm the manager of a business located on West Alameda observed a vehicle pulling a trailer taking a large amount of metal items off the business property. The manager provided a detailed vehicle description to law enforcement. Further investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle sold the stolen metal items to Capitol Scrap Metal a short time later. The suspect was identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Stolen/Recovered Vehicle: 1994 Ford Espire, purple in color valued at $1,200
On 07/22/2011 victim reported sometime within the past week unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle from the apartment complex parking lot. Further investigation revealed the vehicle was used in a crime in the Santa Fe City limits and was towed by the Santa Fe City Police. The investigation is ongoing.

Deputies were dispatched to an aggravated battery at the above location. Miranda Curtis committed a battery on the victim, by punching her in the face. Victim had signs of injuries around her right eye. Suspect was located and taken into custody for battery.

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute at the above location. Above suspect committed a battery on the victim, by putting her in a headlock causing swelling to the face. Suspect was located and taken into custody for assault/battery on a household member, and criminal damage to property of a household member.

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION VICTIM REPORTED SHE HAD A CONTRACTOR POUR A NEW PATIO AT HER HOME ON JULY 11TH, 2011. VICTIM REPORTED SHE LEFT HER DOOR UNLOCKED AND TOLD THE CONTACTOR AND HIS STAFF THEY COULD USE HER RESTROOMS IF NEEDED. VICTIM FORGOT SHE HAD GOLD AND SILVER JEWELRY IN A SMALL BAG IN A DRAWER IN THE BATHROOM. AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED SHE DISCOVERED HER JEWELRY WAS STOLEN AND CALL TO REPORT IT. CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION SUSPECT WAS STOPPED FOR SPEEDING (59/35) SPEED ZONE. SUSPECT WAS EMITTING THE ODOR OF AN INTOXICANT. DWI INVESTIGATION WAS COMPLETED AND SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO BE INTOXICATED (.08 BrAC). SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER WHERE SHE WAS BOOKED. VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

Above items were taken from the interior of the home. Estimated value of property stolen $5,120.00. Estimated value of damage $500.00. Case under investigation.

Victim reported that on the date of 07-21-2011 between 1700-1820hrs some unknown person(s) entered the residence. Entry was gained by force through the front door. Once inside the residence the suspect(s) went to a rear bedroom and stole a 32" flat screen TV and a DVD player. Suspect(s) fled the scene in an unknown direction. Case is under investigation.
