Location: Camino Vista Verde - Airport and Camino Julianna area - Santa Fe, NM

The homeowners returned home on 9/5/10 and found their home burglarized. Two flat screen television and computer equipment were stolen from inside. Entry was gained by force through the bathroom window. No suspects or witnesses were known at the time of report.

Arrested: Jackie Mascarenas - age 36, Santa Fe, NM

The above subject was arrested at the scene of a domestic altercation for battering her husband. The husband sustained minor injuries. The wife was booked into ADC.

Arrested: Brandi Martinez - age 22, Santa Fe, NM

The above driver was stopped for failing to maintain her lane. During the traffic stop, the driver exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. She submitted to a breath test and the results were .16 and .16. She was booked into ADC accordingly.

Location: Agua Fria Road/Henry Lynch Road - Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Carlos Navarrette - age 23, Santa Fe, NM

The above driver was stopped for driving with his headlamps off. During the traffic stop he was unable to provide a driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration. He was additionaly found in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed under arrest and booked into ADC accordingly.

02100007423/ Unattended Death/ 09-05-10

Location: Sobradora Drive- Old Las Vegas Hwy- Santa Fe

Deceased: 83 year od female

On 09-05-10 Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. Upon arrival it was learned that the decedent suffered from a few medical conditions. Santa Fe County Med 80 arrived on scene, however, no life saving measures could be taken, The Office of the Medical Investigator was contacted. No signs of foul play were found and the incident appears to be natural causes. The decedent's next of kin was on scene at the time of the incident.

Location: Old Las Vegas Hwy (Rancheros Campground)

On 09-04-10 the victim reported he was involved in a dispute with his girlfriend. During the dispute the victim was struck in the head with a frying pan. The victim recieved a bump on his head. The victim stated he did not know why the suspect became angry with him. The victim was tranported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. The suspect had not been located as of time of report.

Arrested: Daniel Tapia DOB: 10/14/91 Charges: Receiving/Transferring Stolen Prop, Burglary, Possession of Controlled Substance

Deputies were dispatched to Calle Nueva Vista on a suspicious Activity call. Deputies came across above suspect and through investigation discovered that he had sold stolen property to various neighbors. In addition to that recovered property several other items were recovered and connected to various prior burglaries. The suspect also had 6 bindles on his person that contained possible crack cocaine

Victim reported that unknown persons entered his home through an open front bedroom window. Once inside the unknown suspects took the above items. The burglary took place at some point between on September 3 ,2010.

Victim reported that unknown persons entered his home through an open bathroom window. Once inside the unknown suspects took the above items. The burglary took place at some point between on September 3 between the hours of 1327hours and 1405 hours.

Victim reports home entered by unknown means between 8/28/10 and today.  Victim reports various jewelry, electronics and a small amount of cash missing.  Case is under investigation.
