Case# 0210006602 Aggravated Burglary (Residential)

Location:  Santa Fe County 84B, Santa Fe, NM

Victim:  Deborah Steven, 56, santa Fe, NM

On 8-9-2010 between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM,  person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means gained entry to a residence at the location by forcibly opening a door.  Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed a .38 caliber handgun, a 32" flat screen TV, a laptop computer and miscellaneous jewelrey.

Deputies responded to Burglary in progress. Suspect fled after high centering Suspect vehicle.  Stolen TV recovered along with other stolen property.  Case is under investigation.

Victim:  Claudia Rico-Hernandez, 23, santa Fe, NM

On 8-8-2010 between 4::45 PM and 9:00 PM, person(s) unknown gained entry to a residence at the location, possibly through an unlocked door, as there were no signs of forced entry.  Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed a Sony, Play Station 3 and 2 video games.

Vehicle:  White, 2002, GMC, Pickup

Victim:    Joseph Hernandez, 30, Santa Fe, NM

On 8-7-2010 at 2:59 AM a male individual gained entry to the vehicle while it was parked, unsecured at a residence at the location.  Once inside the male removed a stereo amplifier.  Person(s) unknown also  gained entry to the residence at the location possible through an unsecure window.  Once inside person(s) unknown removed two hand guns.

0210006560 Burglary

Stolen: 42” flat panel TV

Victim reported that on this date some time between 10:00am and 5:00pm some unknown person unlawfully entered the residence by kicking open the front door. The above listed items were stolen valued at about $500.00

Case# 0210006550 DWI

Vehicle#  White, 1997, Jeep, Cherokee

Suspect:  Antonio Gonzales-Dominquez, 28, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Open Container, Driver Must be Licensed, Display of Registration

On 8-7-2010 at 11:31 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle east at the location when he was stopped during a check of BLM Land.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor.  The suspect's New Mexico driver's license as well as the vehicle's New Mexico registration were expired.  There were several open containers of beer in the vehicle.

Case# 0210006551 Concealing Identity

Location:  Agua Fria Street between San Ysidro Crossing and Siler Road, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Black, 1995, Honda, 2 door

Suspect:  Everivan Mejia-Roque, 29, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Concealing Identity, Ficticious License, Roadways Laned for Traffic, Driver

                  Must be Licensed, Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility, Evidence of

                 Registration to be Carried and Exhibited Upon Demand

On 8-8-2010 at 2:09 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle east at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect produced an ID Card that was ficticious and had a differernt name on it.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of registration or insurance upon request.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed no driver's license on file.

Suspect:  Ernest Spencer, 43, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving, No Insurance

On 8-7-2010 at 6:08 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was following another vehicle too closely.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.

Case# 0210006526 DWI/Motor Vehicle Crash (Injury)

Vehicle:  Silver, 2000, Chrysler, 4 door

Building:  Real Food Nation, 624 Old Las Vegas Highway

Suspect:  Augustine Ortiz, 19, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Careless Driving, Safety Belt Required, Open Container, License to be

                  Carried and Exhibited Upon Demand, Immediate Notice of Accident

On 8-7-2010 at 3:08 AM the Santa Fe County Fire Department responded to the building in reference to an activated Fire Alarm.  Upon their arrival they observed the vehicle inside the building.  The suspect was located a short distance from the crash scene and had sustained injuries that were consistent with being the operator of the vehicle at the time of the crash.  The vehicle had been traveling north on US Highway 285 and failed to stop for the posted stop sign at the intersection of the Old Las Vegas Higway.  The vehicle then entered the property at 624 Old Las Vegas Highway and struck a building, knocking down a wall and coming to rest inside of the building.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and a Blood Alcohol Test was administered.  Results of that test are pending.  There was an open bottle of beer in the vehicle.  The suspect was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was not in possession of his valid New Mexico Driver's license.  The suspect failed to contact any Law Enforcement Agency about the crash, instead phoned a friend.  The suspect sustained contusions and abraisions.
