Location: Softwynd Drive - Rancho Viejo

Arrested: Marie Dupree - age 66, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to the above location regarding a stabbing. Based on the investigation and interviews, the above subject was placed under arrest for stabbing her husband in the back. The victim was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital in serious condition and the suspect was booked into ADC for aggravated battery against a household member.

Location: East Frontage Road/Interstate 25 - Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Leroy Swartz - age 42, Santa Fe, NM

Deputy checked on a vehicle parked off the roadway at the above location and found that the driver showed signs of intoxication and was impaired. He was placed under arrest and submitted to a breath test - results .21 and .21. The driver was booked into ADC accordingly.

Arrested: Clyde Lucero - age 36, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at the above location. In the course of their investigation, there was probable cause to believe the suspect assaulted the victim. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into ADC accordingly.

Arrested: Fransisco Topete - age 52, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to a verbal domestic dispute and found that there was an order of protection in effect between both parties. The above subject was named as the respondent in the order and was placed under arrest without incident. He was booked into ADC accordingly.

CASE 0209002347 & 0209002349 / 03-18-2009

LOCATION:  EAST FRONTA ROAD, I-25, lA CIENEGA AREA

ARRESTED:  LEROY SWARTZ, 42YOA MALE, LIBBY VIGIL 29 YOA FEMALE

CHARGES:  AGGRAVATED DWI, OPEN CONTAINERS, PROOF OF INSURANCE AND WARRANT

On this date Sgt. Coleman observed suspects atthe above listed location.  Sgt. Coleman found where they had been drinking and called in a DWI Officer.  The driver, identifed as Leroy Swartz was found to be intoxicated (.21BrAC) and was arrested and charge with aggravated DWI, open container and proof of insurance.  One of the passengers, identifed as Libby Vigil was found to have a warrant for her arrest for failure to comply with conditions of probation and she was arrested.  Both were taken to the Adult Detention Center and booked on above listed charges.

CASE 0209002323 / POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERANLIA / 03-17-2009

LOCATION: 100 BLOCK OF CAMINO JUSTICIA, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED:  ERIC GONZALES, 31 YOA MALE

CHARGES:  POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

On this date Cpl Chavez was sent to the Adult Detention Center due to an inmate being found to have contraband in his possession during a cell check by a detention officer.  Investigation showed where suspect was found to have contraband to wit: heroin and a syringe, tabacco and rolling papers.  suspect was charged on the above listed charges there at the Detention Center.

CHARGES:  WARRANT FOR FAILURE TO APEAR AND ICE DETAINER

ON THIS DATE WHILE CONDUCTING AN INVESTIGATION ON A BURGLARY CASE, DETECTIVE LOCATED ABOVE LISTED SUSPECT.  SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO HAVE A SANTA FE COUNTY WARRANT FOR HIS ARREST FOR FAILURE TO APERA AND HAS AN ICE DETAINER.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND TAKEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER

Location: 385 General Goodwin(County Road 55A)       Los Cerrillos

Suspects: Matthew Lacassne  Age 23   Santa Fe

              John Barela  Age; 45  Santa Fe

John Barela And Matthew Lacassne were both arrested for burglary after they entered a barn on a property located in the 100 block of General Goodwin and stole several bails of hay.  They were both located at a mutual freind's, 385 General Goodwin along with most of the hay.  Lacassne was also charged with resisting arrest.
