Location: US 84-285/ MM 183, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Abel Armenta-Cazares 24 y/om, Santa Fe, NM 

Traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for speeding. Driver showed signs of impairment and was driving on an invalid-revoked license. Driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.

2023001064/Receiving transferring stolen vehicle/possession of a controlled substance

Location: Zafarano Ln/Benito St, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Paul Salazar 30 y/om, Santa Fe, NM 

Traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle which the registration was returning as being stolen . Driver was placed under arrest and found in possession of blue pills (Fentanyl) on his person. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.

Case#2023001052/ Aggravated Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon x 2 and Battery on a Household Member/ 2-18-23

Location: 100 Block of Barton Road, Santa Fe County, NM

Suspect: Ronny Romero, 49YOM, Edgewood, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a domestic violence situation. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the above subject assaulted two household members. During the altercation, the subject pushed a household member. The subject fled the residence before the deputies' arrival.

Location: I-25/MM 276, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Jose Jimenez-Aragon, 43YOM, Santa Fe, NM

Deputy conducted traffic stop and it was learned the driver had an active warrant for his arrest. Driver was found to be in possession of several Oxycodone pills. Suspect was charged and booked.

20230001053/Possession of a Controlled Substance/2-18-23

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: David Lailes, 33YOM, Santa Fe, NM

Deputy dispatched to location in reference to a narcotics violation. Once on scene and through investigation, it was learned the aforementioned inmate had suspected methamphetamine in his possession. Suspect was charged and re-booked with new charges.

On Friday, February 17, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in regards to an online sexual offense. During the investigation, it was learned an unknown subject had requested obscene material from a person younger than 18 via an online social media platform. Case remains under investigation.

Location: 18000 U.S. 84/285, Pojoaque, NM

Arrested: Robin Maese, 31 YOF

On Friday, February 17, 2023, deputies responded to the above area to assist the Pojoaque Police Department with a traffic stop. Upon arrival, the driver was exhibiting signs of impairment. SFSTs were administered and she was subsequently placed under arrest for DWI. She was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility where she was booked without incident.
