On 2-24-2008 at 12:02 AM, the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location at 74 miles per hour in a posted 55 mile per hour zone.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.

On 2/23/08 while conducting a traffic stop at the above location suspect stepped outside his residence due to his friend being placed under arrest for DWI.  Suspect was advised to stay inside his residence several times but refused to obey deputies order.  Suspect was then placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect: Elsa Padilla    Age: 35   Santa Fe

Elsa Padilla was stopped for Red Light Violation at the intersection of Rodeo Road and Zafarano.  It was discovered that Padilla's driver's license is revoked for a prior DWI conviction and she was arrested for Driving while license is suspended or revoked pursuant to state statute.

Suspect: Luis Tarrango   Age: 24        Texas

Deputies responded to a disorderly male at 35 Los Pinos Road at about 11:55 pm and found Luis Tarrango intoxicated walking through the RV Park.  N.C.I.C. revealed that Tarrango was wanted out of the State of Texas for Probation Violations.  Tarrango was arrested and served with (2) Bench Warrants.

Arrested: David Verrett (40 YOA), Camino Vista Grande, Santa Fe, NM 87508

On 02/21/08 at about 9:24 PM suspect was traveling west bound on Camino Vista Grande and failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of State Road 14 prior to making a right hand turn.  Suspect displayed signs of impairment when administered the battery of standardized field sobriety tests.  Driver was taken into custody and refused to submit to a breath test.  A glass cup was located in the vehicle that contained an alcoholic beverage.

Arrested:Javier Dominguez, Age:44, Address:4650 Airport Rd.

 On the above date the suspect was stopped for a traffic violation. During the stop a drivers license inquiry was done and it revealed that his drivers license was revoked. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked on the above charges.

 On the above date the suspect was stopped for a traffic violation. He was observed traveling at a high rate of speed cutting in and out of traffic. When he was finally pulled over he was placed under arrest for reckless driving.

The suspect was being held at the Santa Fe County Detention facility on unrelated charges when a NM Corrections Department, Probation and Parole Arrest Order #RC080260 was served.  An outstanding Santa Fe County Magistrate Court warrant #M-49-DR-200600352 was also served.

Arrested: Ruben Mendoza (27 YOA) 2991 Camino Juliana #521 (Cedar Creek Apts.) Santa Fe, NM 87508

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at the above location.  Victim stated that she had been battered by her live in boyfriend with a wooden kitchen chair on the forehead.  Both parties were treated for minor injuries.  The suspect was later transported and booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

0208001438/DWI Conceling Identity/Open Container/Suspended License

Location of Incident; West Frontage Road and State Road 599, Santa Fe, NM 87507

Arrested: Luis Marin Ramos (34 YOA), 27581 West Frontage Rd. #125, Santa Fe, NM 87507

Driver was stopped for a speed infraction.  Upon contact driver provided a false name and. A 12 oz. can of Bud Light was found in the vehicle under the driver's seat.  Driver was found to be impaired and was subsequently taken into custody.  Driver submitted to a breathalyzer test that showed a breath alcohol content of .10 and .09 respectively.
