The victim stated between 5PM on Nov. 14th and 8AM on Nov. 15th, an unknown suspect cut the lock to the back gate to the property and stole the victims log splitter. The victim's neighbor has video surveillance cameras pointed in the area but was unable to review the footage at this time. No shoe or tire impressions were located at the scene. There is no known witnesses or suspects at this time

Arrested: Jose Villegas Rodriguez & Alex Martinez
Subjects were located at the Buffalo Thunder Casino. Both were in possession of stolen vehicles, and detained by the Pojoaque Tribal Police. Both were arrested and charged with receiving transferring a stolen motor vehicle. While Mr. Alex Martinez was being booked into Santa Fe ADC, he was found to also be in possession of multiple narcotics.

On 11-11-2022, Deputy Cody Lattin responded to a residence on Cowboy Lane. The call was reference to a domestic incident. During the investigation, Deputy Lattin learned Alicia had battered her spouse in a heated argument. Alicia was taken into custody and booked into the detention center without incident.

On 11-11-2022 in the evening hours, Deputy Cody Lattin stopped a vehicle for a speeding offense. Through the investigation on the traffic stop, Deputy Lattin learned the driver, Mathew Joseph Maestas was driving on a revoked license. Maestas also had a warrant for FTA on a Agg. DWI (202200662). Maestas was placed into custody on the driving on a revoked license, speeding and the outstanding warrant. Booked without incident.

Suspect: Gorge Arredondo, 42 YOM, Santa Cruz, NM
Deputies responded to the above address in reference to suspicious activity. The victim advised the suspect attempted to open her front door. Suspect was located and during a pat down, two knives belonging to the victim from a earlier reported burglary were found. Suspect was transported and booked into jail.

Deputies were dispatched to the above residence in reference to a larceny. While conducting their investigation, it was learned unknown suspect(s) removed the catalytic converter off the vehicle sometime between 11/01/2022 and 11/04/2022. This case remains under investigation.

Once on site, a cargo trailer’s hinge lock was cut and multiple power tools stolen. Investigation is on-going.
