Suspect: Vanessa Machado 34 YOA   Santa Fe, NM

Suspect was stopped for failure to maintain traffic lanes. She had an odor of an alcoholic beverage and admitted to consuming two glasses of wine. SFST's were administered and indicated impairment. She refused chemical testing and was booked at the adult detention facility.

Deputies were doing a welfare check on suspect vehicle and it was revealed that suspect had a bench warrant out of the city of Santa Fe. Suspect was booked at SFCADC without incident.

Location: Santa Fe County Jail

Arrested: Terrence Smith, 37-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 2-16-19 jail staff found a baggie concealed in Mr. Smith's body cavity.  The baggie contained Suboxone, Methamphetamine and Marijuana.  Mr. Smith was booked on three counts of Possession of a controlled substance.

Victim reported receiving threats from an ex-spouse stating they were going to receive injury in the near future. Victim stated their was a current protective order in place. Suspect is currently being sought.

Arrested: Gary Brown    Age: 34    Santa Fe, NM

Inmate Brown was found to have in his possession a controlled substance while incarcerated at the jail. Inmate Brown was rebooked into the jail accordingly.

Deputies arrested Flores after learning he stole items of value from an individual at the listed location. Flores was transported to jail and booked accordingly.

Deputies responded to the listed location in reference to a 93 year old female not conscious, not breathing.  Investigation revealed the female passed away from natural causes.  No signs of foul play.

Deputy observed the vehicle not stop at a posted stop sign and initiated a traffic stop. upon making contact with the driver he was found to be impaired. Driver was booked without incident.

Traffic stop was conducted on vehicle when it was discovered the driver was revoked. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.
