Suspect: Adel Valdez

Deputy Trujillo was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a traffic stop performed by Pojoaque Tribal Police Department.   Upon arrival it was determined the suspect was non-native, did not have a driver's license, registration or insurance and had an active arrest warrant.  Suspect was arrested on the active warrant and cited for the traffic infractions.  Vehicle was towed.

0217006494 / Battery Against a Household Member, Criminal Damage of a Household Member, DWI / 5-10-17

Deputy Assigned: Eric Eccles

Commander Entering: Corporal David

Location: Plaza Del Cerro

Suspect: Kathrym Rael

Damaged: Windshield and side mirror

Deputy Eccles was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute.  Victim advised the listed suspect pushed him in the chest and then damaged his vehicle's windshield and mirror after an argument.  Suspect had left the location however, was later contacted driving back to the location.  Suspect showed signs of intoxication, submitted to SFST's and provided a breath sample yielding .10 / .09.  Suspect arrested and booked on the listed charges.

0217006490 / Fraud / 5-10-17

Deputy Assigned: Blaine Lattin

Location: Craftsman Road

Suspect: John Williams

Deputy Lattinresponded to the listed location in reference to a fraud that occurred on 5-6-17 and 5-7-17. The victim stated that he received a call from the listed suspect who states he was a public defender in Pennsylvania. Suspect advised that a relative of the Victim had been arrested in Pennsylvania for a DUI. Suspect requested that the Victim send him a money gram for the amount of $2,600.00 to post bail for his relative. Suspect then contacted victim on Sunday 6-7-17 advising that his family member had been charged with reckless driving. Suspect told victim he had to send a second Money order for the amount of $2,600.00 to post the second bond. Victim sent the second money gram. Victim then contacted his relative who advised he had never been in Pennsylvania, had never been arrested, and never called him. Suspect then realized that this might be a scam.  Case is under investigation.

Stolen: 1997 Nissan truck, white in color

Value: $ 4,500.00

On 05/10/17 the victim reported the above vehicle stolen from his residence. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. Suspect information is pending at this time.

0217006459/ Burglary (Motor Vehicle)/ 05/10/17

Location: 18000 block of US 84/285

Stolen: 3 shotguns in  cases

Value: $19.000.00

On 05/10/17 the victim reported his vehicle was burglarized sometime between April 15th, 2017 and today. The victim reported he placed the above items in his trunk on April 15th, and then noticed the weapons missing this morning. Suspect information is pending in this matter.

0217006455-Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property 5-9-17

Location- 100 Block of Quail Run

Items Taken- Ceramics and household goods valued at $500.

Between the hours of  6:00 pm and 12:15 am  unknown persons gained forced entry into the above listed residence and took the above listed items.  Case is under investigation.

0216006392-DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED, SPEEDING 5-8-17

COMMANDER ENTERING- SGT. J. YORK

LOCATION- CR 62/AGUA FRIA

PERSON ARRESTED- MATTHEW GALLARDO 35 YO SANTA FE

ABOVE LISTED PERSON WAS STOPPED FOR SPEEDING. UPON RUNNING A CHECK ON HIS DRIVER'S LICENSE, IT WAS FOUND THAT HIS LICENSE WAS REVOKED WITH AN ARREST CLAUSE. HE WAS BOOKED ACCORDINGLY.

Deputy Assigned: Chris Valencia

Commander Entering: Lieutenant Michael Martinez

Location: Hwy 14 - Old San Marcos Trail     South Santa Fe County

Vehicle 1 and 2 were both traveling north on HWY 14. Vehicle 2 was attempting to make a left turn and vehicle 1 rear ended vehicle 2. Driver 1 sustained fatal injuries at the scene. Case is under investigation.
