Arrested: Joe Romero 55 yoa male (Albuquerque NM)
Deputy was dispatched to a hit and run car crash at the above location. Upon arrival it was determined the suspect had fled the scene of a crash. Suspect was located in the area of the crash and admitted to drivng. Suspect was also found to be operating the vehicle while his privilege to drive was revoked. Driver was arrested and booked without incident. Suspect's vehicle was siezed in accordance with county ordinance.

victim reported on 10-18-14 during the morning hours a person entered her residence and stole several items. There were no signs of forced entry and the investigation is on-going.

Victim reported between October 15th and October 18th unknown suspects entered a vehicle on his property and opened the hood to the vehicle and stole the battery from the vehicle. Investigation is on-going.

Victim: Female, 95, Edgewood, NM
On Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 5:31 AM deputies and EMS Personnel responded to a residence at the location in reference to the victim being found unresponsive by her son. Upon the arrival of EMS Personnel the victim was found with no signs of life. Deputy Medical Investigator Wayne Granger arrived and at 7:27AM pronounced the victim deceased at the the scene. DMI Granger stated that the victim was taking medication for an early stage cardiac condition. Foul play is not suspected in this incident.

Arrested: Maria Bustillos, Age: 49, Albuquerque, NM 87107
Santa Fe County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call for service in regards to a wrong way driver at the above location. Driver was located, showed signs of impairment, no alcohol was detected and it appeared that the driver was under the influence of a narcotic. The driver was charged accordingly.

Charged: DWI (Felony), Speeding, Reckless Driving, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer,
Display of Registration, Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility, Unlawful Use
of a Driver's License, Driving While License Revoked
On Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:31 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location at 41 miles per hour in a posted 30 mile per hour zone. The suspect failed to bring the vehicle to a stop when given a visual command to do so and turned off the vehicle's lighting equipment while still on the roadway in an attempt to avoid detection. The suspect was located a short distance away on the side of the roadway. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test. Due to the suspect's number of prior DWI Offenses a Search Warrant was obtained and a Blood Alcohol Test was administered. The results of that test are pending. It was revealed that the suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is revoked with the Arrest Clause attached and he was still physically in possession of a driver's license. The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request. The vehicle registration expired May 31, 2009. This incident did not result in a vehicle pursuit.

Victim reported an unknown person had entered their unlocked vehicle between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. while parked in the college parking lot. Case is under investigation.
