Charges: Battery Against a Household member, Criminal Damage to Property of a household member, Interference with communications
On march 2nd Deputies responded to a residence co-occupied by the suspect and victim. Suspect became upset after being told to turn his music down. Suspect grabbed, shook and pushed victim causing minor injuries to victim. When victim attempted to use cell phone to contact law enforcement suspect grabbed the phone not allowing victim to make the call. Once victim was able to get the cell phone back suspect went to his room and caused damage to the residence by punching and kicking numerous holes in the walls. Juvenile Probation was contacted and authorized incarceration.

Charges: Possession of a controlled substance
On March 2nd 2014 Deputy Anaya responded to the Santa Fe County Adult detention center in reference to an inmate being in possession of a possible controlled substance. The items which the inmate possessed appeared to be suboxone. These items will be further analyzed at the Department of public safety crime lab.

Charges: Possession of a controlled substance
On March 2nd 2014 Deputy Anaya responded to the Santa Fe County Adult detention center in reference to an inmate being in possession of a possible controlled substance. The items which the inmate possessed appeared to be heroin and suboxone. These items will be further analyzed at the Department of public safety crime lab.

Victim reported that sometime between 3/2/14 at 11:30 am and 3/2/14 at 7:30 pm, someone gained entry into her residence. A 42" flatscreen television, valued at $300.00, was stolen from inside. No suspects or witnesses were known at the time of the report.

Victim reported sometime between February 26th and March 1st an unknown person made unlawful entry to his home and stole the above listed items. No suspects or witnesses have been identified.

Arrested: Melecio Gallegos 20 yoa male
Charges: Aggravated DWI, Duty upon striking a fixture, Driving while license suspended, Careless driving
On March 1st,2014 SFRECC received a call of a motor vehicle crash at Southfork and Cedar Road. Upon arrival at the scene the driver of the crashed vehicle had left the scene. After about 20 minutes the driver returned to the scene driving his father's vehicle. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and standardized field sobriety tests were administered. Driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Driver refused a breath test. Driver was taken to the Santa Fe County Detention Center where he was booked accordingly.

The above listed subject was arrested on an active bench warrant for failure to appear on a No Drivers License charge. Subject was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Arrested: Sergio Castillo, 20-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 03-02-14 at about 5:23AM a black GMC Sierra truck was observed at the intersection of Rodeo Road and Zia with the driver passed out in the driver seat. Contact was made and signs of intoxication were observed. The driver failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. He was transported to St. Vincent Hospital for a legal blood draw prior to being booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

On Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 4:53 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test. A check with the New Mexico department of Motor Vehicles revealed no driver's license on file for the suspect. This check also revealed that the vehicle registration expired on December 31, 2012. There were three open bottles of Corona Beer under the right front seat. The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.
