0214003351 Missing Person 3/5/14

Location: Roys Way, Santa Fe NM (Alameda area)

Missing: Aaron Tarango 28years old, Santa Fe NM

On above date deputies were dispatched to above address in reference to a missing person. The reporting party wanted to report that her son Aaron Tarango from home and was upset. Mr. Tarango made statements to his sister that worried his family. He was last seen driving his Black 2008 Nissan Altima in the Airport Rd area. He was entered into NCIC as a missing person.

0214003292 Burglary / Larciny 3/4/14

Location: The Law Road (Arroyo Seco area) NM

Stolen: 2 12volt batteries,2 sets of wrenches

Victim reported sometime between 3-03-14 at 1200hrs and 03/04/14 at 7:00am an unknown suspects gained entry into the 2 vehicles located inside the secured fenced area. Upon entering the suspects stole the above items from two pickup trucks

The above listed items stolen were valued at about $250.00

Case# 0214003348 DWI

Location:  State Road 599 at State Road 14

Vehicle:  Green, 1999, Saturn 4 door

Suspect:  Shea Ward, 20, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Provisional License

On Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 2:37 AM the suspect was found passed out in the vehicle, with the engine on, foot on the brake and not responding to a trffic control signal cycling from red to green.  The suspect was found to be under the innfluence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alchol Content of .08 or greater.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed a youth restricted driver's license meaning he can not operate a motor vehicle between midnight and 5:00 AM  without another licensed driver over the age of 21.

Arrested: Jose Esquibel, 36 Years old, Santa Cruz, NM, 87567

 On March 04, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriffs Deputies responded to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center in reference to an inmate with narcotics. Staff reported that upon a cell search several narcotics were located in a cell along with a drug paraphernalia. The suspect (above listed) was charged accordingly.

Location: Avenida Vista Grande, Santa Fe, NM, 87508

Stolen: Various electronics,and various clothing

  On March 04, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriffs Deputies responded to the area of Avenida Vista Grande in reference to a reported burglary. Contact was made with the victim who stated that sometime between the hours of 3:45pm- 5:30pm on todays date unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took various electronics and various clothing. This case remains under investigation.

 On March 04, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to the area of Pase C Debaca in reference to a reported burglary. Victim stated sometime between 7:30am-4:30pm today suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims home. Once entry was gained the suspect(s) took various electronics. This case remains under investigation. 

0214003333 / Aggravated Assault, Battery on a Peace Officer, 2 counts, Possession Of Marijuana / 03-04-14

Arrested: Rachel Mandelkorn 28 years old, Santa Fe, NM, 87508

  On March 04, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to an address on Azul Drive in reference to a female that was walking around with a knife. Deputites arrived on scene and discovered the suspect (above listed) had threatened an individual with the weapon. Contact was made with the suspect at which time she struck several Deputies that were attempted to place the suspect under arrest.  A narcotic was located near the suspect upon arrest. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Case# 0214003275 Fraudulent Use of a Credit Crad

Location:  4000 Block Calle Lucia, Santa Fe, NM

Victim:  Female, 45, Santa Fe, NM

On Monday, March 3, 2014 the victim left her purse at a bussiness at the location.  An unknown suspect removed the wallet from the purse.  The wallet contained $100.00 in cash and several credit cards.  The unknown suspect made two purchases with one of the credit cards totaling $2,500.00

Case # 0214003272 Unattended Death 03-03-14

Location 7600 block of Old Santa Fe Trail

Deceased:69 yoa female

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to an unconcious female who was not breathing. Upon arrival the victim was found to be deceased. OMI arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased. No foul play suspected.

0214003243 / Larceny, Recovered stolen property / 03-03-2014

Location: Maple Drive Edgewood, NM, 87015

Stolen: storage shed (recovered)

 On 03-03-14 a shed was reported stolen from an address on Maple Drive, Edgwood, NM. It was discovered that the shed was not a neighbors home in the area.  The shed was recovered and charges have been forwarded to the District Attornies Office.
