2022001230-Breaking and Entering, Criminal Trespass-03/01/22

Location: 5400 Block of Richards Ave.

Suspect: Adelaido Garcia (45)

Damaged: Window and Gate $4000.00

Deputy dispatched to location in reference to someone damaging the main gate. Once on scene and through investigation it was learned the aforementioned suspect damaged the automatic gate in order to gain entry into the property. Once in the properly surveillance cameras captured the suspect attempting to open multiple doors. Suspect was located and interviewed and admitted to the crime. Suspect was charged and booked without incident.

 

2022001205/ DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE

LOCATION: 17000 BLOCK OF US 84-285

ARRESTEE: REINA CHAVEZ, 34- YEAR OLD HISPANIC FEMALE FROM CHIMAYO, NM.

On 2-28-2022, Deputy Watson responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence. During the course of the investigation, it was learned during an argument on 2-26-2022; when Reina Chavez was intoxicated, she  battered a family member and put her kids in a dangerous situation. A warrant was issued.

Victim 79 year old female 

Suspect: Unknown

 

Victim was notified by her accountant that she was paid unemployment benefits however she had never filed for any benefits through the state and that someone was using her personal information to obtain them. 

2022001207/ BURGLARY AND LARCENY

LOCATION: MARTIN ROAD EDGEWOOD, NM

On 2-28-2022, RECC dispatched deputies to a commercial location where unknown suspect(s) made unauthorized entry. The unknown suspect(s) removed machinery from the location. This case is under investigation.

Location: Caliente Road/Caliente Place

Arrested: Eric Walker 51 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a reckless driver and possible intoxicated driver.  Contact was made with the above subject and Deputies observed signs of impairment.  Subject was arrested and blew a .11 and .13 g/210L.  Subject was charged and booked accordingly.

Victim: 39 year old male

Suspect: Joseph Levasseur 19 Edgewood NM

Suspect unlawfully forced entry into the residence attempting to steal items. He was located by a family member of the owner and deputies were able to take him into custody.

Suspect: Hispanic male 5'7 short hair medium complexion 

Victim: 43 year old male

Location: La Puebla Rd/ Barton Lp (La Puebla trailhead Espanola NM)

A Hispanic male stole a catalytic converter from the victim as he was hiking at the trailhead.

Suspect was incarcerated at the county jail and had two active warrants for her arrest. She was booked.

Location: US 84/285 and La Puebla Road

 

On the above date the suspect was called in as a reckless driver. The suspect was stopped and later found to be impaired. The suspect was read his implied consent advisory. The suspect refused blood chemical testing.

2022001177/Battery against HHM/2-26-2022

Location: Hill Trail Dr., Santa Fe County, NM

Suspect: Eddie Martinez

On Saturday, February 26, 2022, at approximately 3:30 pm, Deputies responded to the above address in reference to a domestic disturbance.

The victim reported she and the suspect got into a verbal argument. As she was leaving the residence, the suspect got in her vehicle and used the palm of his hand to strike her on the upper lip and nose. Contact was made with the suspect at the residence and he denied hitting the victim. With evidence being consistent with the victim's version of events, the suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
