On 4/2/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a larceny. Victim reported that on 3/29/13 at 3:15 p.m. he noticed that his Dodge Diesel Exhaust and catalytic converter were missing which were near his shed. Estimated value of the items taken is $800.00.

Location: Cheyenne Circle & Snow Blossom, Santa Fe, NM (Vista Primera Subdivision)
On 4/2/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to an aggravated battery. Victim stated that she was involved in a physical altercation with her cousin. Suspect then got into her vehicle and began to leave the area while the victim was taking her 10 month old son out of the vehicle. Suspect reversed the vehicle and then began to drive forward. A witness observed the suspect veer toward the victim and the infant child striking the victim with the passenger side of the vehicle. Victim and child fell to the ground and sustained abrasions/contusions. Suspect fled the area. A warrant was drafted for the suspect and was not located at this time.

On 4/2/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a narcotics violation. Detention Officer located an envelope on the floor near the Booking Archive Office upstairs of the facility. Detention Officer opened the envelope and found 2 packets of Suboxone films inside. It is unknown who the suspect is at this time. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Jesus Martinez, age 26, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Trafficking a controlled substance (x2) (Heroin & Suboxone), Distribution of a controlled substance, Bringing contraband into a place of imprisonment
On 4/2/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a narcotics violation. Detention Officers stated that they observed a large bulge in the suspect's pants which turned out to be ten rubber balloons wrapped up in a white tank top shirt. Contact was made with suspect and immediately advised of him of his Miranda Rights. Suspect agreed to answer my questions and stated that the balloons contained heroin, suboxone and marijuana. Suspect stated that he brought the balloons into the jail when he was booked on 04/01/2013. Suspect was re-booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center on above charges.

Location:Valle Vista Blvd (Santa Fe NM area)
On this date Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a death investigation. The victim (66 year old female) was found at the above location unresponsive and not breathing by family member. There did not appear to any signs of foul play at the scene and death appears to be of natural causes. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Victim stated that on this date sometime between midnight and 8:00am some unknown person unlawfully entered residence through and unlocked door and set fire to a love letter belonging to his niece. The suspect then stomped the fire out and left the area. The victim was not home at the time of the incident.

Victim stated that on this date sometime between 7:00am and 8:30am some unknown person unlawfully entered residence through a rear window. Upon entering the residence the above listed items were stolen.

Victim stated that on this date at about 11:48am some unknown person unlawfully entered residence through an unlocked door. Suspect was met by the home owner in the hallway then fled the area. Suspect was described as male 5’6” -5’8” wearing all dark clothing, dark hat, and a dark item covering his face.

Victim stated that sometime between March 29 and March 30 some unknown person(s) unlawfully entered the business by unknown means, and stole the above listed property.

Location: 2700 Block of Aspen Loop (Cottonwood Mobile Home Park), Santa Fe, NM
On Monday, April 1, 2013 between 8:00 AM and 9:30 PM, person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means gained entry to a residence at the location by prying open the north side door. Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed a Ruger .45 caliber pistol and a Marine Corps Knife from the closet in the master bedroom. Another bedroom was ransacked, however no other items were taken.
