On January 25, 2023, Deputies extradited the above subject from La Plata County (Durango, CO). Subject was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident. Original Charges: Aggravated Stalking and Violation of a restraining order. 

Case #2023000615 DWI

Location: 271 mile marker Interstate 25, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Christopher Gantt, 52 yoa male, Rio Rancho

Deputies were dispatched to assist Santa Fe Police in locating a suspect of a domestic disturbance. SFPD located the vehicle. The driver showed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the SFCADF. 

Case #2023000613 Agg DWI, Headlamps, Taillamps, Vehicle to be registered

Location: 271 mile marker Interstate 25, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Esperanza Sanchez, 29 yoa female, Ojo Caliente NM

Deputies observed the vehicle traveling with one headlamp and no tail lamps. The vehicle was stopped. The driver showed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the SFCADF. 

Case #2023000611 Battery

Location: Buffalo Thunder Casino, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Desirae Valdez, 35 yoa female, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to Buffalo Thunder reference a battery. Deputies were advised the suspect struck a security guard several times due to a conflict with the seating arraignment. Suspect was arrested and booked into the SFCADF. 

Case #2023000602 Aggravated Battery, Criminal Damage

Location: Buffalo Thunder Casino, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Gerardo Grajeda Beltran, 23 yoa male, Los Lunas NM

Deputies were dispatched to Buffalo Thunder reference a possible shooting. It was learned that the suspect and victim got into an argument over vehicle horns being honked and items being thrown at vehicles. Argument turned physical, and at some point in time the suspect stabbed the victim with a box cutter knife. Suspect was arrested and booked into the SFCADF. 

2023000608/Child Abuse/01-28-2023

Location: Cave Road, Madrid, NM

Arrested: Dewayne Anstey, 36 YOM

On Saturday, January 28, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a physical domestic disturbance in progress. During the investigation, it was learned the above suspect had battered a household member. It was also learned this occurred while in the presence of a child. The suspect was placed under arrest without incident. He was then transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, where he was booked without incident.

2023000603/Warrant Service/01-28-2023

Location: Cities of Gold Road, Pojoaque, NM

Arrested: Donald Archuleta, 53 YOM

On Saturday, January 28, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an animal welfare check. Upon arrival, contact was made with the above individual. Through the investigation, it was learned he had an active bench warrant. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked without incident. 

Case #2023000600 Agg fleeing law enforcement

Location: Agua Fria, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Gerado Mendez, 18 yoa male, Santa Fe

Deputies attempted to stop vehicle for hazardous driving. Driver fled from law enforcement for a short period of time. Driver then fled on foot. Driver located in residence and taken into custody. Driver booked into SFCADF 

Case #2023000597 Resisting evading or obstructing an officer, Leaving the scene of an accident

Location: I25 East Frontage Road, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Manuelito Arguello, 41 yoa male, Santa Fe

Deputies assisted a Sandoval County Deputy on a pursuit that entered Santa Fe County. Deputies located the vehicle. The driver attempted to flee on foot. The driver was taken into custody and handed over to Sandoval County.

Location: Grateful Way, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Zachary Matthews, 19 YOM

On Friday, January 27, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an assault. It was reported that a weapon was pointed at someone. On scene, deputies learned a verbal argument had ensued and during the argument, the suspect pointed a deadly weapon at the victim. The suspect was located and arrested without incident. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked without incident.
