Location: 100 Block Camino De Los Ranchos, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Catalytic Converters

On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a larceny. Contact was made with the victim and they advised between January 13-24, unknown persons stole two catalytic converters. Case remains under investigation.

Arrested: Steve Segura 42YOM (Santa Fe)

Sgt. stopped out with a suspicious male. While investigating, it was learned the individual had an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked into SFADC without further incident. 

2023000529/Agg Assault upon Peace Officer/Resisting Evading an officer/Possession of a contrlled substance

Location: Camino Tierra Real/ Vuelta Ventura

Arrested: Steve Segura 42YOM (Santa Fe)

Sgt. stopped out with a suspicious male. While investigating, suspect was found to have a warrant and began to flee. Suspect pulled out a hammer and raised it in an aggressive manner toward Sgt. Webb Jr. The suspect had also thrown a metal container, containing narcotics inside.  Suspect was taken into custody and booked into SFADC without further incident.

Victim: 86 YOF, Santa Fe, NM

On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a deceased female. OMI was summoned to the scene. Based on the investigation, it appears as if the female passed away due to natural causes. At this time, no foul play is suspected.

LOCATION: POVI PIN POE, SANTA FE COUNTY, NM

SUSPECT: UNKNOWN

On 1-24-2023, the owner of a residence on Povi Pin Poe, which is being renovated, was burglarized. An unknown person or persons made unlawful entry into the residence sometime in the past month. The unknown person or persons removed numerous items from the residence and the property. At this time, this case is under investigation.

On the above date, deputies were dispatched to the county jail in reference to a male who had an active arrest warrant. The above subject's ID was verified and it was determined that the subject did have a warrant for his arrest. Subject was re-booked for the warrant (original charges-Shoplifting, No seatbelt, No insurance)
