Victim reported to Deputy that while her vehicle was parked at the above location, unknown persons forced entry into her vehicle and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation.

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Susbtance to wit: Subutext

On 12-12-12 at approximately 1033-hours/ 10: 33am, Dep. R. Lunneborg was dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility in regards to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. During a search of the inmate a single white pill was found in the inmates uniform pocket. The pill will be submitted to the crime lab for analysis. The suspect was booked accordingly for the possession.

Arrested: Marcus Valencia 20 year old male,Santa Fe NM

On this date victim & suspect  got into a verbal argument while at home. Victim attempted to telephone 911. Suspect then threatened the victim with a knife and broke victims phone before 911 could be called. Suspect was arrested and was booked into the adult detention center on the above charges.

Victim reported to Deputy that a male entered the establishment and attempted to use counterfeit currency to make a purchase. The subject was questioned by the employee about the currency. The subject fled the area leaving the currency behind. Case is under investigation.

Case#: 0212019031/ Possession of a controlled substance to wit Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/ Date: 12/10/12

Location:  28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM (Santa Fe County Adult Detention Ctr.)

Suspect:  Samuel Quezada, age 34, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Possession of a controlled substance to wit:  Meth, Possession of drug paraphernalia

On 12/10/12 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a narcotics violation.  Person Reporting stated that he witnessed the suspect attempt to conceal a blue glass pipe in his sweatpants while the suspect was going to be searched.  The inmate later advised that he did have a crystal like substance in his possession which was Meth.  The substance was field tested and tested positive.  Suspect was then rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location:  3200 Calle PoAePi, Santa Fe, NM (Ramirez Thomas Elementary)

On 12/10/12 victim reported that an unknown person entered her vehicle and took a backpack which was on the passenger seat of her vehicle.  Victim stated that she went into the school and returned to find the backpack missing.  Victim stated that inside the backpack was $200.00 in cash, a passport and a credit card.  Estimated value of the stolen items is $1400.00.  Victim stated that she left her doors unlocked. 

Case#: 0212019034/ Fraudulent use of a credit card, Forgery, Larceny/ Date: 12/10/12

Location:  Crouch Court, Santa Fe, NM

On 12/10/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a larceny.  Victim stated that an employee has not been to work since the middle of November.  Victim stated that on 12/10/12 while she was checking her company bank account, she noticed several checks had been written to the suspect and been cashed.  Victim stated that she did not sign the checks.  Victim stated that she also noticed several fraudulent credit card transactions in which she did not make.  Estimated value of the checks and transactions is $3,499.61.
