Detention Officers at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center located in one of the intake holding cells several prescription medications.  Case still pending investigation.

Suspect: John E. Martinez 28 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Resisting or Obstructing an Officer X2, Intererence with Communications, and Battery against a household member

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a Domestic Disturbance.  Victim reports she was in a verbal argument with the above suspect.  Victim reported suspect grabbed her cellphone from her as she dialed 911 and pushed her.  As deputies attempted to make contact with the above suspect he ran and resisted arrest.   Suspect was booked and charged accordingly at ADC.

Stolen: Antique siverware kitchen set

Victim reports between the dates of December 2011 and January 2012 she had hired a company to do work at the residence. The victim realized that the above items were missing from her residence. The victim advised she believes it had to be one of the workers that  was at the residence possibly stole the items. This case is currently under investigation.

Location: 4700 block, Airport Road, Santa Fe, NM

Recovered: White in color Ford Tailgate

Victim reported on today's date, he observed a vehicle on Airport Rd with a tailgate that he recognized as his and that was stolen. The victim advised he had the key to the tailgate and ownership was validated. The person with the tailgate on the vehicle advised he had just bought the vehicle at a dealership in Albuquerque, NM and was unaware that the tailgate was stolen. The tailgate was relinguished to the victim and the case is currently under investigation.

Stolen/Damage: Wells Fargo Debit Card/passenger window

On June 10, 2012 between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. unknown suspect(s) unlawfully gained forced entry into the victims 2002 white Ford Escape bearing NM license plate 269RAK. Once inside suspect(s) unlawfully removed the above item. Suspect(s) are pending further investigation.

Location: Ave. Vista Grande/ Ave.Torreon

Arrested: David Van Dyke 56 yrs old

Deputies were dispatched toSt. VincentHospitalin reference to a motor vehicle crash. Driver admitted to consuming beer. Alternate SFST’s were conducted and the driver was found to be impaired. Blood Draw results are pending. Driver was placed under arrest for DWI. Driver was booked accordingly into Santa Fe County Jail.

0212009878 Burglary 6-28-12

Location:Placita Road(Pojoaque area)

Stolen: Checkbook, misc. tools

Victim reported that between 1:00am and 9:30am on 6-28-12 unknown suspects unlawfully entered his residence by kicking open the front door and stole the above stated items. No suspect information has been developed at this time. Case is still under investigation.

Arrested: Luis Marquez, 53yoa male, Santa Fe

On this date at approximately 6:51pm, the above individual was observed operating a Chevy Pickup. Upon making contact with the driver it was found that she showed signs of intoxication. Subject was given the standardized field sobriety tests. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail and booked accordingly

Victim reports garage was burglarized sometime between September of 2011 and this month.  Several handtools are reported missing including a recipricating saw that the victim believes is for sale on Craig's List.  Case is under investigation.

0212009764/ Trafficking a Controlled Substance/ 06-26-2012

Location: Grant Street and Johnson Santa Fe New Mexico

Suspect/ Arrested: Ramon Mata age 56

On June 26th, 2012 Ramon Mata was placed under arrest for Trafficking a Controlled Susbstance. Detectives recieved information in regards to Ramon Mata selling narcotics in front of the Santa Fe County Administration Building. After a month long surveillance operation Ramon Mata was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
