Case # 0212004410/ Aggravated assault w/ a deadly weapon/ 03-24-2012

Location: Netos Drive, La Puebla- NM

Victim reported an altercation ensued between him and his neighbor. The victim advised the suspect was holding a handgun when he was approached. Victim advised he retrieved a handgun when the suspect took his weapon from him. Victim stated multiple shots were fired in the air, the gun was pointed at him and the suspect(s) left the area. Suspects pending further investigation. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

 

Case # 0212004404/ Attempt to commit Burglary and Criminal Damage to property/ 03-24-2012

Location: W. Gutierrez, Pojoaque, NM

Victim reported on Saturday March 24, 2012 just after midnight, she heard knocking at her door and windows. Victim stated she did not report the incident but when the victim returned home early this evening, there were signs of suspected attempts to enter the residence.  It is believed entry was not made into the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

Damage: doors and windows valued at $250.00

Case # 0212004392/ Burglary (Auto)/ 03-24-2012

Location: Vuelta Ventura, Santa Fe- NM

Stolen: Jumper Cables

Victim reported on Saturdaay March 24, 2012, unknown persons gained unauthorized access into the victim's vehicle and took the above item. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle as the cables were in the bed of the truck. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

The above listed item was valued at about $20.00

Suspect: Pending

Victim reports automatic gate keypad box and solar pannel stolen from entrance to driveway causing damage as well.  Case is under investigation.

Location: Serenity Lane    Santa Fe,NM

Suspect: Angela Swicegood        Age: 24          Santa Fe,NM

Deputies were dispatched to location in regards to domestic dispute. Upon arrival it was determined that the suspect during the dispute shoved the victim causing the victim to lose her balance and strike her head causing injury. The suspect was arrested and  transported to jail where she was booked accordingly.

Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility

Suspect: Gerald Sanchez    Age: 29      Santa Cruz, New Mexico

Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate being booked into facility having a controlled substance hidden on his body. The substance was detected during the booking process. The suspect was booked into the facility with the additional charge.

Victim reported to Deputy sometime between 830 am and 530pm unknown persons forced entry into the home and stole the listed items. Case is still under investigation.

02.12.004374 / Unlawfully Taking of a mortor vehicle / Criminal Damage to Property / 03-24-2012

Location: 3000 block of Agua Fria, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: 2005 Chevy Impala, New Mexico License plate LNJ316, 4 door blue in color, with tinted windows, and front license plate with "ALMA"

On 03-24-2012 victim reported that he heard someone outside his residence at around 5:30 a.m. Upon investigating the noise he observed a male subject enter the above vehicle, and unlawfully remove it. The unknown suspect also crashed into another vehicle in the driveway, and hit the skirting of a neighbors residence. The unknown suspect fled the area west on Agua Fria. Suspects are pending further investigation.

The above items stolen were valued at about $3,515.00

0212004370, DWI, Careless Driving, 3/24/12

Location: I-25 milepost 268

Suspect: Karen Padilla  Age: 43  Santa Fe

Karen Padilla was arrested for DWI and Careless Driving after she was observed driving the wrong way, Southbound in the Northbound lanes of I-25 from milepost 276 to milepost 268 and was found to be impaired.  Her B.A.C. was .15 and she was booked accordingly.
