Charged:  Battery on a household member

On 8/20/11 SFPD officers were dispatched to Acequia Borrada area in reference to an intoxicated female.  The female advised officers that she was involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend which occurred in the County.  Victim stated that suspect battered her in the face which caused her to have a black eye.  Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Case#: 0211012279/ Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Assault/ Date: 08/19/11

Location:  3160 Agua Fria, Santa Fe, NM (Agua Fria Elementary School)

On 8/19/11 deputies were dispatched to St. Vincent Hospital in reference to an Aggravated Battery.  Victim stated that he was on his way to his mother's work when he was approached by 4 individuals who battered him with an unknown type of object.  Victim stated that the individuals also threatened him if they would see him again they would kill him.  Victim then proceeded over to the hospital to have his injuries attended to.  Victim obtained 5 stitches to his head.

Case#: 0211012265/ Burglary, Larceny/ Date: 08/16/11

Location:  2500 block of Sycamore Loop, Santa Fe, NM (Cottonwood MHP)

On 8/19/11 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between the hours of 0730 and 1630 unknown persons unlawfully gained entry into her residence possibly through a window in the livingroom.  Victim stated that unknown persons then took a Sony Playstation 2, a Compaq laptop, 2 Nintendo Wii game systems, a Xbox Kinect game system, and a pair of Nike tennis shoes.  Estimated value of items taken is $1590.00.  There was no damage to the window.

Suspect/Arrested: Michael Valencia (45 YOA) 402 Nazario Santa Fe, NM

On Aug. 18, 2011 the above suspect was located as a passenger in a vehicle at the above location.  The suspect was taken into custody on a Bench Warrant issued by the Santa Fe County Magistrate Court for Issuing Worthless Checks.

On Aug. 17, 2011 the above suspect was located at the above location and taken into custody on a warrant issued by the Santa Fe Municiple Court for the charge of Drinking in Public Places.

On Aug. 18, 2011 the above suspect was located at his residence and taken into custody on an Arrest Order issued by the 1st Judicial Dist. Court for failure to report to Probation/Parol.

0211012187 Burglary / Criminal Damage 08/18/2011

Location: Camino Juliana Apartments (Airport Rd area)

Damaged: Paint on six cabinet doors, paint on carpet.

Victim reported that between 8/17/11 at 1700 and toady at 0900 an unknown person(s) entered above unoccupied apartment and wrote (SUR: MVL: VL: X8). No forced entry was located. Apartment is being painted for the next tenant. Damage was estimated to be about $400.00

Damaged: Vehicle One: Yellow John Deer front loader

                    Vehicle Two: Blue Kenworth dump truck.

                    Vehicle Three: White Mack Dumpster truck

Victim reported that between 8/17/11 at 6:36 P.M. two juvenile males entered above vehicles damaging and setting of fire extinguishers inside the cab. The extent of the damage is estimated at $1500.00. A digital camera captured the above incident.
