Vehicle: 2001 Yamaha MC      Blue

Driver was stopped by  Deputies after observing several traffic violations. Upon initial contact , driver displayed signs of impairment and was asked to submit to sobriety testing. Driver was arrested and  submitted to chemical testing. The results were .08, .08

Case#0211011885 / Aggravated DWI, Possession of Marijuana, Leaving the Scene of an Accident / 08/12/2011

Deputy Assigned: L. Martinez

Commander Entering: Cpl. M. Delgado

Location: Redwood Street/Sycamore Street, Cottonwood Mobile Home Park

Arrested: Eliias Velasquez 23-year-old male from Santa Fe New Mexico

    On the evening of 08/12/2011 Deputies were dispatched to a hit and run motor vehicle crash at the above listed location.  Deputies located the suspect vehicle a short distance from the crash and contacted the driver, Mr. Velasquez who was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor.  He also was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.  He was arrested and booked on the above listed charges.

Case#0211011896 / Concealing Identity / 08-13-2011

Deputy Assigned: K. Whyte

Location: Trades West Road, Santa Fe N.M.

Arrested: Octaviano Lucas-Cortez, 34-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

    On 8/13/2011 at approximately 1:30am a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Lucas-Cortez.  He provided Deputies with a false name.  Further invesstigation revealed his true name.  He was arrested and taken to the Santa Fe County Jail without further incident on the above charge.

Case#: 0211011877/ Residential Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 08-12-2011

Deputy Assigned: Deputy G. Oritz

Location: Bosquecillo (La Pardera Area)

Stolen: 2 Flatscreen Samsung Televisions Estimated Value $1,200.00

Suspect: Pending

On August 12, 2011 between the hours of 0800 and 1700 hours someone unlawfully gained forced entry through the front door at the above location.  The above items were taken from within the residence.  Estimated damage to door $200.00.  Case still under investigation.

0211011886, Aggravated Battery, 08-12-2011

Location: Wind Dancer Road / State Road 472 (North Edgewood)

Suspect: Jeffery Nawrocki, 22 yoa male, Edgewood

Deputies responded to a call fro service in regards to a fight at the above location.  Victim was found with injuries to his head, back, arm as a result of a baseball bat being used on him.  Suspect and Victim were arguing about internet service prior to the fight.  Suspect was located at the scene and arrested without incident.  Suspect was booked into ADC without incident

Location: Ojo De La Vaca / Old Las Vegas Highway

Suspect: Pending

Damaged: two side windows ($500)

Deputies responded to above location in regards to a vacant home being damaged.  Suspect(s) broke two side windows and entered residence.  Once inside suspects did no further damage and left the area.  Case is under investigation.

CASE 0211011898 / RESISTING OBSTRUCTING AN OFFICER, BUYING SELLING GIVEING ALCOHOL TO A MINOR (MIP) / 08-13-2011

DEPUTY ASSIGNED:  DEPUTY STEPHANIE CHAMPLIN

COMMANDER:  SGT. CLIFTON L. COLEMAN

LOCATION: 100 BLOCK OF CALLE AGUA CLARA, RANCHO VIEJO AREA

ARRESTED:  JAIME A. RIVERA, 19 YOA MALE, SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:  RESISTING AN OFFICER, MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION DEPUTY'S WERE SENT TO A LOUD PARTY COMPLAINT AND A FIGHT IN PROGRESS.  DURING INVESTIGATION SUSPECT WAS LOCATED AND FOUND TO BE INTOXICATED.  SUSPECT REFUSED TO SIGN CITATIONS AND STARTED OBSTRUCTING INVESTIGATION.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND TAKEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED.

0211011918 Battery against a household member 08-13-11

Location: #40 Caminito De Pinon, Santa Fe, New Mexico (Old Las Vegas area)

Suspect arrested: Louis Valentine

Between 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm on August 13, 2011 a father and his 29 year old daughter were involved in physical altercation at the above stated location. During the altercation the male allegedly slapped the female near her right eye. The female sustained visible injury to said area. The male was placed into custody and booked for battery against a household member.

On this date victim reported between 07-05-2011 and 08-01-2011 someone damaged the window screen, opened an unlocked kitchen window and entered the above stated residence. Once inside suspect(s) removed the above stated items. Suspects are pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 706.00

02110111856 Criminal damage to motor vehicle 08-12-2011

Location: 5600 Hyde Park Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Items damage value: $1,000.00

On 08-12-2011, Deputies responded to a criminal damage to motor vehicle at the above stated location. The above stated vehicle was parked at a trail head as the owners were hiking. An unknown suspect took a blunt force object and broke the rear window of a 2004 Nissan Murano. The suspect(s) never gained entry into the vehicle. Suspects are pending further investigation.
