On 10-21-08 between 7:00am and 3:15pm, someone broke into a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. The unknown suspect(s) pryed open the passenger door and stole the car audio system. This case is currently under investigation.

On 10-21-08 the victim reported that her boyfriend assaulted her and cut her with a steak knife between 10-15-08 and 10-16-08. The victim stated she calmed the suspect down and was able to get away. Charges are still pendinga. The suspect had left the Santa Fe area at time of report.

Charges: Aggravated DWI - Refusal, Driving while license suspended/revoked, concealing ID, Open Container and no insurance

The suspect was located on the side of the roadway at above listed location. The defendant had several bottles of opened alcoholic beverages inside his vehicle. The defendant advised officers that he had "Too Much" to drink and refused to submit to field sobriety testing. The defendant was arrested and it was later learned that his driver's license had been revoked by the State of NM. The defendant was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Jail.

A male individual entered a store at the Factory Outlet Stores and grabbed 6 designer handbags and ran out of the store. The suspect fled from the area in a black in color SUV. The value of stolen items was estimated to be at $2,088.00.

On this date deputy located suspect and found him to have a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear.  Deputy arrested suspect and transported him without incident to the Adult Detention Center.

On this date deputy stopped suspect for traffic violation and found he had a revoked license with the arrest clause attached.  Suspect was arrested on charges and taken to the Adult Detention Center.

Victim reported that sometime during the last two weeks a Honda 8000 generator valued at 2,500 was stolen from an unsecured garage.  There were several other expensive items in the garage although nothing else appeared missing.  No witnesses or suspects at this time.
