Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center

On October 8, 2008, at about 5:19am, deputies responded to ADC regarding a stabbing incident. Preliminary investigation showed the victim was stabbed multiple times in the upper torso by another inmate. The victim was transported to St. Vincents Hospital in critical condition. The Criminal Investigation Division assumed the case and the investigation is ongoing.

Victim reported that sometime between 10/5/08 and 10/7/08 some unknown person(s) gained unauthorized entry into the residence. Upon entering the residence the suspect rummaged through several dresser drawers. It is unknown if any items were stolen at this time.

Charged: Rudy Castro - age 31, Santa Fe

The above subject was incarcerated at ADC and deputies learned he had an active warrant issued out of Maricopa County in Arizona for alleged felonies committed. The above subject was served with the warrant and charged with fugitive from justice accordingly.

Location: County road 61 / Airport Road    Santa Fe

Suspect: Cynthia Archuleta  Age: 33   Santa Fe

Cynthia Archuleta was arrested for an outstanding Bench Warrant after deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the area and found Cynthia walking away from the scene.  The domestic dispute was only verbal and no injuries were reported.

Deceased: Pending notification of next of kin

A 29 year old handi-capped male student was found deceased in one of the classrooms just prior to the start of class.  He suffered from many ailments and was known to have medical difficulties.  No foul play is suspected.  Case is under investigation.

Victim reports garage was entered through unlocked door and various items were missing including a weedeater, golfclubs, drill and extension cord.  Case is under investigation.

 Items stolen: Lg flat panel TV  $900. -  Canon digital camera $250.

On this date deputies responded to an activated alarm at the above location. Upon arrival the residence was found to have been burglarized. Entry was gained by kicking open the side garage door. Upon entering the residence the suspect(s) stole the above items. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

On Monday 10/6/08 at about 9:45 Ms. Zimmerman reported her friend Desmond Mc William misssing. Desmand was last seen on 9/24/2008 at the above location. Desmond has been entered into NCIC.

0208008733 Arrest by Warrant 10-06-08

Arrested: Martin Savedra 41yoa

On the above date, the above named officer conducted a traffic stop on the defendant for running a stop sign.  Upon making contact and chekcing on operator's status, it was learned that he had an active arrest warrant out of the Municpal Court for failure to pay fines.  He was arrested and booked at the adult detention center.

Arrested: Felipe Medina 44 yoa male

Charges:  Failure to appear-warrant

On this date deputy was investigating a motor vehicle crash where suspect was the victim.  Investigation showed an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear as instructed by Municipal Court.  Suspect was arrested and taken to ADC.
