Case#: 0208007989/ Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 09/15/08

Location:  6400 block of Cypress, Santa Fe, NM (Cottonwood MHP)

On 9/15/08 at about 0332 hours, a security guard observed 3 hispanic males around victim's vehicle while he was making the rounds of the mobilehome park.  After the security guard passed by suspects got into a blue in color vehicle and left the area.  The guard discovered that the victim's vehicle had got broken into.  Entry into the victim's vehicle was gained by breaking the right rear door glass.  Victim stated that nothing had been taken.  Estimated value of window is about $200.00.

Location:  Airport Road & Jemez Road, Santa Fe, NM

On 9/14/08 victim was traveling south on Airport Rd. when suspect attempted to repeatedly ram his vehicle into victim's vehicle.  Victim arrived at intersection of Jemez and Airport Road where suspect rammed victim's vehicle and left the area.  Suspect is victim's ex-boyfriend and was very angry when victim broke up with him.  Suspect could not be located.  Victim is scared of suspect. 

Case: #0208007960 / Aggravated Asssult Whit A Deadly Weapon / 09-13-2008

Location: #100 block of Camino Capilla Vieja

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Mike Martinez

Suspect:  pending

Charges:  Pending

On this date deputies were sent to the above listed location, due to citizens calling in reporting shots fired in the area.  Deputies found were suspect was at location were he was eating and drinking with suspect.  Suspect gout upset and left the kitchen area, then came back with a 22 cal. rifle and shot at victim.  Victim ran out of the house and went to a different house and called the Sheriff's Office. Suspect fired 2 or 3 more times then suspect fled the area.  Deputies were not able to locate suspect and case is under active investigation at this time.

Case: #0208007954 / Service of documents - driving on a revoked license-concealing identity / 02-13-2008

Location:  Camino Vista Verde, Camino Juliana area

Officer assigned: Deputy Mike Martinez

Arrested:  Sergio I. Garcia-Florez, 19 yoa male.

Charges:  Driving on a revoked license, concealing identity, Service of documents, warrants.

On this date Deputy Martinez came into contact with suspect at a distrubance complaint.  Suspect concealed his identity with officer.  Suspects true identity was later discovered by officer.  Officer observed suspect driving in the abouve listed area and conducted a traffic stop on him.  Officer confronted suspect about his name and and why he lied to him.  Suspect was found to have a revoked drivers license due to a DWI and four warrants for his arrest for failure to appear.  Suspect was arrested on above listed charges and taken to the Adult Detention Center.

Suspect:  Osvaldo Valenzuela, age 18, Taos, NM

Charged:  Bench warrant out of 8th Judicial District Court for failure to appear

On 9/14/08 at 2122 hours, suspect was incarcerated at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and served with a bench warrant out of the 8th Judicial District Court for failure to appear.

0208007951 Battery Against A Household Member

Location Of incident:Paseo Segunda /Hyde Park

Suspect:Robert Vigil Sr., Age:49, Address:2400 Agua Fria Rd.

 Charges:Battery Against A Household Member

 On the above date the suspect was placed under arrest after he had gone to his girlfriends house at the above location and battered her causing minor injuries. The suspect fled the area and was located hiding in the area. He was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Case#: 0208007965/ DWI, Open Container/ Date: 09/14/08

Location:  Cerrillos Road/Ocate Road, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Rigoberto H. Vega, age 47, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Open Container

On 9/14/08 at 0130 hours Vega while operating his vehicle at a DWI checkpoint displayed signs of impairment.  Vega also admitted to consuming 2 to 3 beers at 1900 hours.  Vega was also found in possession of an open can of Tecate beer.  Suspect upon completion of the SFST's displayed signs of impairment.  Suspect submitted to a preliminary breath test which showed positive for alcohol.  Suspect was arrested and requested to submit to a breath test and his BrAC results were .10, and .10.  He was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Charged: DWI Drivers to Be licensed

Subject was arreted at DWI Sobriety checkpoint after contact was made and the odor of intoxicating beverages was detected on his breath. Driver was administered the standardized field Sobriety test and showed signs of impairment. Driver submitted to breath test the results were .15/.14 Driver was booked into the county Jail.

Susject was stopped after he was traveling north on Cerrillos Road and nearly struck a deputies car in the rear. upon contact with the driver the odor of intoxicating beverages was detected on his breath. Driver was administered the Field Soberity test and showed signs of impairment. Driver was arrested and advised of implied consent and submitted to breath test. the results were .14/.13 Driver had 5 prior arrest on his license history.

Case# 0208007939 / DWI-Reckless Driving-Open Container / 09-12-2008

Location: Airport Road/San Felipe Road area

Officer assigned:  Deputy Bryan Peters

Arrested: Jose Flores, 25 yoa male

Charges:  DWI, open container and reckless driving

On this date suspect was stopped on Airport Road for reckless driving.  Suspect was found to be intoxicated .13 / .13 BrAC and in possession of an open bottle of Budweiser beer.  Suspect was arrested with out incident and transported to the Adult Detention Center on the above listed charges.
