0208000199 Arrest by Warrants 01-08-08

Deputy Assigned: Agt. Gabe Gonzales

Commander: Lt. Marco Lucero

Location: Old Pecos Trail Inn, Santa Fe, NM

Arrestred: Darryl Miller DOB: 08-23-66

On the above date, the above named defendant was arrested without incident while seen in the area of the Old Pecos Inn.  The defendant had two (2) outstanding felony arrest warrants out of the First Judicial District Court.  He was arrested without incident and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked accordingly.

Victim: 24 year old male

On January 8, 2008 at about 1:47am, Deputies responded to investigate the deat of the above victim.  Medical personnel were on scene attempting to resuscitate the victim after he reportedly had several seizures.  Criminal Investigations Division assumed the investigation.

Victim's residence under construction was entered by suspect(s) between 1/4/08 and 1/7/08 and removed several items of construction equipment.  No doors were installed so no force was used to make entry. No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

Victim's residence was forcibly entered sometime between 12:20pm and 12:53pm on 1/7/08, by unknown suspects.  Several electronics and items of jewelry were stolen from inside.  No witnesses or suspects are known at this time.

Above subject was arrested on a bench warrant at the scene of a domestic dispute.  His booked accordingly.

Location of Incident: State Road 475 (Hyde Park) Santa Fe, NM

Suspect(s): Pending

Victim reported that on 01-06-08 between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm a window on his 2006 Honda CRV was broken and entry was gained.  Stolen from inside the vehicle was a purse, cell phone, gym bag and clothing.  No suspect or witness information at this time.   

0208000181/Unattended Death

Location of Incident: 20 Sudeste Ln., Santa Fe, NM 87505

Victim: 24-year old Male

Deputies responded to a call of an unattended death at the above location.  A 24-year old male was discovered unresponsive.  Fire department personnel attempted to revive the victim to no avail.  Case is under investigation.

Location of Incident: Interstate 25 at Milepost 290, Santa Fe County

Arrested: Sidney Mace (49 YOA) 62 Vaquero Rd., Santa Fe, NM 87508

The suspect was accessing the southbound on ramp to Interstate 25 MP 290 and lost control of his vehicle leaving the roadway and subsequently rolling onto its side.  The driver had an odor of an intoxicant coming from his person.  Driver was transported to St. Vincents Hospital for a blood sample.

Location of Incident: Santa Fe County Rd. 44 & Russell Drive

Arrested: James A. Duran (23 YOA) 2218 Miguel Chavez Rd. #506, Santa Fe, NM 87505

The above listed individual was operating a 1987 Honda Accord.  Upon contact deputies noticed an odor of intoxicant emitting from the driver.  The suspect failed the battery of field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.  A breath test was administered and the results were above the legal per se limit.

Location of Incident: West Cochiti Road Santa Fe, NM

Suspect(s): Pending

Victim reported that between 10:00 pm on 01-05-08 and 10:00 am on 01-06-08 an unknown person(s) entered into her unlocked 2005 GMC pickup parked on her property.  Stolen from inside the vehicle were the stereo, speakers, power tools and tool bag.  No suspect or witness information at this time.
