On Friday, March 15, 2019 at approximately 7:39pm, Deputy made contact with victim, who advised that while at the ski basin and unknown suspect(s) removed his snowboard from the location. Investigation is ongoing.

Location: State Road 84

Vehicle was stopped for speeding.  The driver of the vehicle had a revoked license. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe ADC.

Suspect/ Arrested: A. Silver age 29yrs

Location: Cities of Gold Road

Vehicle was stopped for the passenger not having a seatbelt.  The driver displayed signs of impairment. He was arrested and provided a breath sample. He had a breath alcohol level of more then twice the legal limit. He was booked into the Santa Fe ADC.

Vehicle: 2008 silver Toyota Camry

Charges: Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

On Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at approximately 7:44pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry to the vehicle and removed musical equipment. Investigation is ongoing.

Case #0219004269, Resisting, Evading, or Obstructing an Officer

Location: Northfork and Shenandoah Trail, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 1984 red Chevy Truck

Suspect: Diego Talamante, 26, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer; Speeding; No Insurance; Evidence of Registration on Demand; Driving While License Suspended

On Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at approximately 3:35pm, Deputy observed vehicle traveling at a speed higher than the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, who was the suspect. Suspect was ran through N.C.I.C. and he returned with an outstanding warrant. While Deputy was attempting to handcuff suspect, suspect pulled away and continued to resist. Suspect was placed under arrest. Suspect also had a suspended license and was unable to provide proof of insurance or registration. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Location: 6000 Block of Richards Ave.

Victim: 47 Year Old Male

Deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to an auto burglary. Upon arrival, contact was made with victim who advised his driver's side window was broken. Victim advised nothing was taken from his vehicle. No suspect information is available at this time.

Deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to an auto burglary. Upon arrival, contact was made with victim who advised her driver's side window was broken. Victim advised nothing was taken from her vehicle. No suspect information is available at this time.

Victim:59 Year Old Male

Deputies spoke with the victim who advised that his Identity was stolen. Victim stated past two years an unknown suspect has been filing taxes under his information. Investigation is on going.

 

0219004185 / DWI / 3-12-19

Location: State Road 76 at La Puebla Road

Arrested: Rita Bustos, 60-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 3-12-19 Ms. Bustos crashed into a street sign.  Further investigation revealed she was driving while under the influence of alcohol.  She was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.
