Case #0218016204, Aggravated Burglary

Victim 2: Female, 67, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Aggravated Burglary, Theft of a Credit Card, Larceny, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card

On Monday, September 24, 2018 at approximately 12:48pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a Burglary. Victims advised that on the night of September 22nd an unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the vehicle and removed a wallet containing credit cards, cash, a New Mexico driver's license; a folding knife and tools. Suspect(s) also entered the garage and removed two bicycles. Investigation is ongoing.

Victim reported pottery stolen from his business while it was changing ownership.  Case is under investigation.

 

0218016124 / Possession of a Controlled Substance X2 / 9-23-18

Location: 175 US 84/285 (Camel Rock Casino)

Suspect: Russell Trujillo

Deputy was dispatched to the listed area reference a suspicious male.  Contact was made with the male who returned with an active arrest warrant.  Search incident to arrest revealed the male to be in possession of methamphetamine and suboxone.  Suspect arrested and booked accordingly.

Suspect/ Arrested: R. Montoya age 29

Location: Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino

Deputies were dispatched to the Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino to assigned Pojoaque Tribal Police with a wanted person. Upon arrived deputies made contact with R. Montoya. A check through NCIC confirmed that Montoya had an active warrant for his arrest.  He was subsequently arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County ADC without further incident.

Location: Old Las Vegas Highway at US 285

Arrested: Chad BrownEagle, 27-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 9-22-18 at about 6:00am Mr. BrownEagle was located passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle at the above intersection. He displayed signs of intoxication and showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests.  He was arrested and refused to submit to a breath test.  He was booked accordingly.

Suspect: Ariane Martinez, 39, Espanola, NM

Vehicle: 1997 maroon Pantiac Grand Prix

Charges: Felony DWI, Driving While License Revoked

On Saturday, September 22, 2018 at approximately 5:15pm, deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. A description of the vehicle was provided and deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Contact was made with the suspect, who was driving the vehicle. Suspect showed signs of impairment and agreed to submit to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. During the field  sobriety tests the suspect displayed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DWI. Suspect was run through N.C.I.C. and the suspect had at least three prior DWIs. Suspect also had a revoked driver's license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause attached. Suspect was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and agreed to submit to a breath test. Suspect provided two breath samples that were 0.16 G/210L or higher. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Deputies were dispatched for a call of service at the suspect residence. Suspect was run through NCIC and found two outstanding warrant for burglary and larceny. Suspect was booked without incident.

On Friday, September 21, 2018 at approximately 4:41pm, deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. Suspect was found in possession of Suboxone. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
