On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a report of a Burglary of a jewelry gallery. Upon arrival, It was discovered that an unknown person forced entry into the business and stole a large amount of southwestern type jewelry. This case is currently under investigation.

On Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at approximately 2:49am, Deputy responded to location in reference to an unlawful entry to the residence. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence by kicking in the front door, but did not remove anything from the residence. The front door was damaged. Investigation is ongoing.

On November 5, 2017 at approximately 7:30pm, I was dispatched to a burglary on Los Tres Vecinos. I met with the victim who stated that today between 3:00pm and 7:00pm an unknown suspect made entry into his house from a bed room window. Victim said when he arrived home he observed the bed room window was open and a majority of his tools were missing. Victim said he had already shut the window and looked around his residence. No evidence was located on scene. Made contact with surrounding neighbors, but no suspicious activity was observed. Incident is currently under investigation.

On Sunday, November 5, 2017 at approximately 1:44am, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate, who had an outstanding warrant for their arrest. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. The original charge on the warrant was Careless Driving.

Suspect: Wilber Melara, 27, Santa Fe, NM
Victim: Female, 28, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Cocaine; Battery against a household member
On Sunday, November 5, 2017 at approximately 2:28am, deputy responded to location in reference to a battery that had occurred. It was learned that the suspect and victim are divorced and the suspect battered the victim. Suspect was placed under arrest and was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. While at the detention facility the suspect was found to have cocaine in his possession. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Stolen Vehicle: 2002 Black Ford Escort NM PBC056
On November 3, 2017 Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a stolen vehicle. Victim reported the theft occurred between 3:00pm and 4:00pm (11/3/17). Victim believes a family member stole the vehicle. Vehicle was entered into NCIC.

Deputies were dispatched to the area of 84/ 285 and CR 88 in reference to a male striking a female on the side of the road. Deputies located the vehicle and suspect was arrested for the charge of Battery against a household member. Suspect was taken to SFCADC without incident.
