Stolen: Equalizer Towing Hitch

On the above date the victim reported a commercial burglary after the fact. The burglary occurred  sometime overnight between the 17th and 18th of April, 2017. The victim advised that upon arriving at his business this morning, he noticed that the doors to his storage shed were damaged and the tow hitch missing. Suspect information is pending at this time.

Suspect:  Monica Pena – 34 – La Madera, NM

Charges: Warrant Service

Suspect was a passenger in a vehicle that was observed driving around the Pojoaque area in a suspicious manner. The vehicle was stopped by Pojoaque Tribal Police and upon investigation it was learned that the suspect had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for failure to comply (shoplifting). The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charges.

0217005326 – Warrant Service – Possession of Controlled Substance – 04-18-17

Location: Kicks 66 (Pojoaque)

Suspect:  Adrian Martinez – 34 – Ojo Caliente, NM

Charges: Warrant Service – Possession of Controlled Substance

Suspect was a passenger in a vehicle that was observed driving around the Pojoaque area in a suspicious manner. The vehicle was stopped by Pojoaque Tribal Police and upon investigation it was learned that the suspect had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During a search incident to arrest a syringe with heroin inside was found in the suspect's backpack.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charges.

0217005322 – Driving while Revoked – 04-18-17

Location: Kicks 66 (Pojoaque)

Suspect:  Dominic Anaya – 19 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Driving while license Revoked

Suspect was observed driving around the Pojoaque area in a suspicious manner and was stopped by Pojoaque Tribal Police.  Upon investigation it was learned that the suspect was driving on a revoked license with the arrest clause (66-8-122g) attached.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge.

0217005274-Aggravated Battery Against a Household Member with a deadly weapon- 4-16-17

Location- 200 Block of San Marcos Loop

Person Arrested- Phyllis Turner 59 yo Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding a domestic dispute. Upon investigation, it was found that the above suspect had cut her husband with a knife. Subject was booked accordingly.

Location: Tranquil Way    Santa Fe,NM

Arrested: Hector Varela     Age: 39      Santa Fe,NM

Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the victim and suspect. Victim reported that the suspect had battered her during an argument, victim did display signs of injury. Suspect denied battering the victim stating that the injuries were from another male. Suspect was arrested and taken to jail where he was booked accordingly.

Item Stolen: 500 Gallon Propane tank

Victim reported to deputy that sometime between April 13, 2017 and April 15, 2017 unknown persons entered his property and stole the listed item. Case is under investigation.

0217005250-Aggrivated DWI, Reckless Driving, Open Container- 4-16-17

Person Arrested- Higino Geovanny Chacon Miranda 34 yo Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the area of the Buffalo Thunder Casino regarding a wrong way driver.  The vehicle was located at the above location and a traffic stop was initiated.  Contact was made with the driver, the odor of an intoxicant could be detected. Field Sobriety Tests were administered and the driver showed signs of impairment.  Subject refused further testing and was booked accordingly.

Deputies responded to the above listed area regarding a reckless driver. Upon making contact with the above individual, it was found that she had a revoked driver's license.  Subject was booked accordingly.
