Vehicle: 2006 silver Toyota Scion

Charges: DWI, Careless Driving, Immediate Notice of Crash

On Sunday, December 18, 2016 at approximately 12:23am, Deputy responded to location in reference to a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle lost control and rolled over. The driver fled the scene. A witness advised the vehicle entered the curve at a high rate of speed and rolled over. Driver was located at another location and showed signs of impairment. Driver was taken to the hospital due to injuries. Driver was placed under arrest at the hospital for DWI. Driver was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and agreed to submit to testing. A blood draw was administered and blood test results are pending. Driver was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was not seized due to the damage caused by the accident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Location North Bound Interstate 25 MM 280 

Suspect: Jose Salas Romero

Vehicle: 2001 Blue Ford F-150 bearing NM NPM141

Deputies were dispatched to area of Interstate 25 north bound advising of above vehicle swerving and not maintaning its lane. Multiple calls were taken. Deputies located vehicle at Mile Marker 278 and it proceeded without stopping. Vehicle stopped at Mile Marker 280 and driver showed signs of impairment. Driver advised he was coming from Pecos NM. Driver was taken into custody and a breath test showed a .20- .21. Driver was booked at Santa Fe County Adult Dentention Center without further incident. Vehicle was not seized.

Suspect: Pending

Stolen: 4 Bronze Sculptures

Value: $1,390.00

Victim reported over the last several weeks the above items were taken from her place of business. Also taken was a carving drill and a Nambe bowl. Suspect information is pending at this time.

0216019393, Battery Against a Household Member, 12/18/16

Location: Buffalo Thunder Resort    Pojoaque.

Suspect: Jesse Rodriguez  Age: 25  Espanola NM

Deputies responded to the Buffalo Thunder Resort for a domestic dispute and discovered that Jesse Rodriguez had battered a household member causing minor injury.  He was booked accordingly.

66 year old incarcerated male suffered from what appears to be a heart attack.  CPR was administered but was not successful.  No foul play suspected.  Case is under investigation.

Pojoaque Tribal Police located Sanders and turned him over to SFSO Deputies for outstanding Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear.  He was booked accordingly.

Sanders was located by Pojoaque Tribal Police and turned over to SFSO Deputies for outstanding Bench Warrant for failure to Comply.  He was booked without incident.

0216019375-Battery Against a Household Member- 12-17-16

Person Arrested- Alexandra McCann 19 yo Stanley, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding a domestic dispute. Upon investigation, it was determined that the above listed person had battered her mother. Subject was booked accordingly.

0216019343 – DWI / Registration Required – 12-17-16

Location: US-84/285 – 171 (Flea Market) Exit

Suspect: Lori A. Kosi – 27 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: DWI – Registration Required (Suspended Plate)

Suspect’s vehicle was stopped on US-84/285 for having a suspended registration plate.  Upon contact with the driver signs of impairment were observed.  The suspect performed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests which also indicated impairment.  The suspect submitted to an Intoxilyzer Test with the results be a .13 and a .12.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Location: US Highway 84/285 and State Road 503, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Scott Lee, 55, Espanola, NM

Vehicle: 2003 red Toyota Tacoma

On Friday, December 16, 2016 at approximately 9:35pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to the suspect that was pulled over by Pojoaque Tribal Police and the suspect was non-native. Pojoaque Tribal Police stopped the vehicle for speeding. Suspect showed signs of impairment and agreed to submit to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. During these tests the suspect showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. Suspect was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and agreed to submit to a breath test. Suspect provided two breath samples that were 0.08 or higher. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. The vehicle was no seized due to the suspect not having any prior DWIs.
