Between 8:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2015 and 5:16 AM, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means gained entry to a bussiness at the location by shattering an exterior window.  Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed two (2) Apple I Pods

Case #0215002386 Larceny over 02-16-15

Location: Camino De Los Montoyas (Santa Fe NM)

Victim reported between September 2014 and January 2015 stole jewlery, household items,antiques and clothing from the victim's residence. The case is under investigation and pending suspect identification.

SFCSO Case #0215002357/ Burglary (Auto) and Larceny/ 02-16-2015

Location: #10 Cities of Gold (Cities of Gold Casino) Santa Fe, NM 87506

Deputies responded to the above location in refrence to an a burglary (Auto). The victim reported that unknown person(s) unlawfully entered their vehicle (Jeep with soft top) and removed their female blue heeler, K-9. The dog is described as being grey in color, having white spots, wearing a blue collar and goes by the name "Kateria". There was no evidence located at the scene and this case is currently under investigation.

SFCSO Case #0215002325/ Residential Burglary and Criminal Damage to Property/ 02-15-2015

Location: El Sitio Rd. Espanola, NM 87532

Deputies responded to a possible burglary in progress at the above stated location. The residence was checked and no one was found inside the residence. Through investigation, it appeared the suspect(s) made forced entry in the residence by breaking a locking mechanism on a north facing window. The residence was ransacked and items were out of place. It is unclear at this time if anything was taken from the home. This case is currently under investigation.

SFCSO Case #0215002317/ Burglary, Larceny and Criminal Damage to Property/ 02-14-2015

Location: 1400 block of South Sierra Azul, Santa Fe, NM 87507

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a residential burglary. It was determined on this date unknown suspect(s) made unlawfully/unauthorized/ forced entry into the residence and stole elctronic equipment and US currency. This case is currently under investigation.

SFCS Case #0215002315/ Driving on a revoked license (122G- Arrest clause)/ 02-14-2015

Commander Entering: Cpl. James C. Yeager

Location: NM SR 599 at MM 11 Santa Fe, NM 87507

Arrested: Erwin Benally, 44 years of age, Farmington, NM 87401

Deputies and New Mexico State Police were conducting a DWI checkpoint at the above location when contact was made with the above listed subject. A drivers license inquiry revealed that the subjects license was revoked as a result of a previous DWI. The subject was charged and booked accordingly into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Facility without incident on the above charge.

SFCSO Case # 0215002254/ DWI, Open Container and Careless Driving/ 02-13-2015

Assigned Deputy: Dep. Clay Cullison

Location: 500 block of Rabbit Road Santa Fe, NM 87507

Arrested: Jo R. March, 61 years of age Santa Fe, NM 87508

Deputies responded to the above area in refrence to a reckless driver. Deputies found a single vehicle crash in the area and the above stated subject in control of the vehicle. The driver displayed signs impairment and the driver subsequently submitted to a chemical breath test and registered samples more than twice the legal limit, .16 or higher. Open alcohol containers were located inside the vehicle during the investigation. The driver was subsequently arrested on the above charges and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Case #0215002303, Death Investigation

Deputy Assigned: J. Vigil

Location: 1400 block of Hyde Park Road, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 33, El Paso, TX

On Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 4:29 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to an unresponsive female. Victim struck a tree while skiing. Attempts to revive the victim were unsuccessful. The Office of the Medical Examiner was notified and responded to the scene. There were no signs of foul play and next of kin was notified.

Case #0215002290, Possession of a controlled substance, to wit: Suboxone

Charges: Possession of a controlled substance, to wit: Suboxone

Suspect: Maria Mejia, 28, Velarde, NM

On Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 3:20 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to an inmate who was found in possession of suspected Suboxone. Suspect had been an inmate since Thursday, February 12, 2014 and was found in possession of suspected Suboxone during a pat down on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Location: Camino Cerrado, Pojoaque, NM

Victim: Male, 43, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

On Friday, February 13, 2015 at 3:33 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to a Burglary. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the residence by prying open one of the doors to the residence, causing damage to the door. The unknown suspect(s) removed jewelry and loose change from the residence.
