Arrested: Male juveinele, 14 years of age, Santa Fe, NM 87506

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Deputies made contact with the victim who advised a verbal altercation ensued with her juvenile son that escalated to a physical altercation. During the course of the altercation, the suspect broke items within the residence, threatened the victim, grabbed the victim by the arm and prevnted her from leaving. JPO (Juvenile Probation Office) approved incarceration for the juvenile suspect and he was charged and booked accordingly.

On Monday, March 2, 2015 at 6:00 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to a Larceny. Victim, who is the property owner, advised that sometime between January 31, 2015 and March 2, 2015 that an unknown suspect(s) removed household items and a hot tub heater from the location.

On Monday, March 2, 2015 at 12:07 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to fraud. Victim advised she had gone on vacation out of state from December 25, 2014 to January 5, 2015. Victim advised she has recently been made aware that an unknown suspect(s) withdrew money from several ATMs in the area of her vacation. All the withdrawals were made after the victim had returned home.

Suspect:  Gabriel V. Sturgeon, 25, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit:  Heroin, Possession of Drug

                 Paraphernalia

On Monday, March 2, 2015 at 9:30 AM the suspect was found to be in possession of a syringe while at the location.  The syringe contained a brown liquid substance which tested positive for heroin.

Between 5:30 PM on Fridaay, February 27, 2015 and 8:30 AM, Monday, March 2, 2015 person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means gained entry to a residence at the location by forcing open a door.  Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed miscellaneous construction equipment from the residence which is being re-modeled.  Person(s) unknown also removed a cargo trailer which was parked next to the residence. 

SFCSO Case #0215003067/ DWI (Felony), Roadways laned for traffic, and open container/ 03-01-2015

Location: Interstate 25 at mile post 288, Santa Fe, NM 87507

Arrested: Craig Gonzales, 34 years of age, Thornton, Colorado 80241

Santa Fe County Sheriff Deputy Tony Romero, at the above location observed a vehicle that could not maintain its lane of travel. Deputy Romero conducted a traffic stop at the above location. Contact was made with the driver and an odor of alcohol was detected. The suspect agreed to Standardized Field Sobriety testing and signs of impairment were observed. The suspect agreed to a breath test where he registered a breath sample over the legal limit. The suspects driving history showed three (3) prior DWIs. The driver was charged and booked on the above stated charges without incident into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.  

SFCSO Case # 0215003029/ Battery Against a Household Member/ 03-01-2015

Location: #30 Buffalo Thunder Trail Santa fe, NM 87506 (Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino)

Arrested: Geoffrey Crumm, 42 years of age, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87508

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with the suspect at his hotel room and he advised that he and his fiance got into a verbal altercation. The victim was not located in the room but deputies located her within the hotel. The victim had apparent injuries and advised that her fiance (Suspect) attacked her and and physically battered her in their hotel room. Evidence was collected and it was determined that the suspect was the main aggressor in the altercation and he was subsequently arrested on the above charge. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
