0215003711 / Aggravated DWI, Roadways laned for traffic / 03-14-15

Location: US 84/285 mile maqrker 185

Arrested: Daniel Santistevan, 21-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 03-14-15 at approximatelyt 2:20AM the defendant was observed traveling north on US 84/285 at mile post 185 failing to maintain his lane of travel.  A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the defendant who had an odor of alcohol enitting from his person.  He admitted to smoking marijuana and drinking beer prior to driving but refused chemical testing.  He was arrested on the above charges.

Suspect: Pending

Victim reports 2000 Dodge pickup entered without force and a .40 Cal. Glock pistol is reported missing.  Pistol was entered into NCIC as stolen.  Case is under investigation.

0215003700 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property / 03-13-15

Location: 96 Old Las Vegas Highway, Harry's Roadhouse

Stolen: I-Pad, Samsung Tablet, Acer Laptop and a backpack.  Total value of $2,000.00

On 03-13-15 between 7:00PM and 9:15PM someone shattered the passenger window of the victim's Nissan Versa and stole the above listed items from within the vehicle.

Victim reports internet scam where victim was defrauded over $1000.00 by cashing a check and sending the money to the suspect.  The check was ficticious.  case is under investigation.

Suspect: Alvaro Romero  Age: 33  Denver Co

Alvaro Romero was arrested for DWI after being stopped for traffic violation and was found to be impaired and under the influence of marijuana.  Blood analysis is pending.

Stolen: US Currency

   On Saturday March 14, 2015 Santa Fe Sheriffs Deputies responded to the area of Ogo Wii in Pojoaque, NM in reference to a reported burglary. Santa Fe Deputies arrived and made contact with the complainant / victim. The complainant reported sometime in the morning on  03/14/15 suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the complainants vehicle. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took the complainants money from within the vehicle. This case remains under investigation.

Case#:0215003670/Driving while suspended/revoked license/Date: 03-13-2015

Deputy Assigned: Deputy Charles Vrugitz

Location: US 84/285 at 176 Mile Marker Exit Ramp (Pojoaque Area)

Arrested: Michael Tafoya 25 yoa male, Dulce NM

Charges: Driving while suspended/revoked, Roadways lane for traffic, and License to be exibited on demand

Deputy observed a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Siliver in color traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on US 84/285 at MM 175.  Deputy then observed the vehicle merge into the off-ramp to exit US 84/285, but then quickly merged back into the northbound lanes of traffic passing another vehicle in the process.  A traffic stop was then conducted and driver was found to have a suspended/revoked license pursuant to the arrest clause 122G.  Driver was arrested and booked without further incident into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.  The vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5, where it was taken to the Santa Fe County Seizure Lot.

Location: 6151 Airport Road, Santa Fe, NM (Country Club Gardens Area)

Stolen: Various pieces of gold, silver jewelry, precious stones and Iphone 5 estimated value: $3,950.00

Victim reports unknown persons stole the above items from the above location.  Victim stated she noticed the items missing sometime between the dates of March 11, 2015 through March 13, 2015.  There were no signs of forced entry.  Case pending further investigation.

Case #0215003673, Unauthorized Graffiti

Location: Bisbee Court, Santa Fe, NM

On Friday, March 13, 2015 at 1:35 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to Unauthorized Graffiti on Personal or Real Property. Reporting party advised that an unknown suspect(s) painted large letters at two seperate locations on the building. Damage was caused to two walls and a table. Damage is estimated to be more than $1000.

0215003636 / Battery against a household member / 03-12-15

Location: RV park off Old Las Vegas Highway

Arrested: Elizabeth Agee, 25-year-old female from Boulder Colorado

On 03-12-15 Ms. Agee was involved in an altercation with a family member which escalated to Ms. Agee slapping the victim across the face. She was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.
