The above wanted female was taken into custody on an active warrant for failure to pay fines. Suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Case#0215003923 Burglary/Auto Larceny 03-18-2005

Location- Saddle Back Mesa (Rancho Viejo)

Victim reported that sometime between 03-17-15 at 4:30 pm and 03-18-15 at 10:30 am, an unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the unlocked camper shell to his 2012 Toyota Tundra and sole a set of golf clubs. The golf clubs are valued at $1500.00. There is no suspect information available at this time. The case is pending further investigation.

Case#0215003905 Aggravated DWI 03-18-2015

Location- Old Galisteo Road/Rabbit Road

Arrested- Francisco Franco Age 25  Santa Fe, NM

Charges- Aggravated DWI, Driving on Rightside of Roadway

Deputy stopped a red in color 2013 Mitsubishi 4 door at the above location after it was observed cross the center line on Rabbit Road. Deputy detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from within the vehicle. Driver admitted to consuming two beers and smoking marijuana prior to being stopped. Driver displayed signs of impairmaent during the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest. Driver refused to submit to chemical testing. The vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 and amended 2013-5. Driver was booked into the Adult Detention Center without incident on above charges.

Arrested- Victor Vega-Vargas Age 24- Santa Fe, NM

Charges- Battery Against A Household Member

 

Victim reported a domestic dispute with suspect over a cellphone. Sometime during argument suspect grabbed victim by wrist causing minor injury. Suspect was arrested and chared with Battery Against a Household Member and booked into the Aduld Detention Center without incident.   

Case#:0215003910/Auto Burglary, Larceny/Date:03-18-2015

Stolen: Amazon I-Phone Black Charger estimated value: $20.00

Victim reports between March 17, 2015 at 9:00pm and March 18, 2015 at 7:30am unknown person(s) gained unlawful entry into his 2004 Tan in color Ford F350 at the above location.  Once inside the above item was taken.  There were no signs of forced entry.  Case still pending further investigation.

SFCSO Case # 0215003906/ Abandonment of a child/ 03-18-2015

Location: 20 W. Gutierrez, Butterfly Springs Apartments Santa Fe, NM 87506

Arrested: Noel Montoya, 24 years of age Santa Fe, NM 87506

Deputies responded to the above location in refrence to a a call in regards to a child be left alone (2:51am). Contact was made with witnesses and the child and it was determined the child (6 years of age) was left unattended at the above location. The child walked to the neighbors apartment and advised him that he didnt know where his mom was at. Contact was subsequently made with the mother of the child and she advised that she drove to Santa Fe to the Wal-Mart to shop and left her child alone because he was sleeping. The mother advised she was gone from the residence for approximately two (2) hours. The child was left in the custody of a relative and the mother was arrested on the charge of abandonment of a child.

Victim reported that sometime today between 9:45 am and 2:15 p.m. unknown persons forced entry into a shed and stole the listed type of items. Case is under investigation.

Charges: Theft of a credit card by taking or retaining possession of card taken, Fraudulent use of a credit card

On Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 3:01 PM, Deputy responded to location, which is in Santa Fe County, in reference to stolen credit cards. Victim advised an unknown person took two of her credit cards and made charges to the cards at separate locations.

Location: Paseo Del Conejo, Santa Fe, NM, 87505 (Las Campanas area)

  Santa Fe County Sheriffs Deputies responded to an address on Paseo Del Conejo in reference to a welfare check. Deputies arrived and located an elderly male and elderly female inside the home. Both individuals were unresponsive. Deputies made entry into the home. Medics were called to the scene, upon arrival medics did not find any signs of life. There were no signs of foul play at the scene.  This case remains under investigation.

 Santa Fe County Sheriff Deputies responded to an address on Estacada Road in reference to a reported Identity theft. Upon arrival victim stated unknown suspect(s) attempted to file a tax return under the victims name. This case remains under investigation.
